Ok, ok interesting start :)
For some reason, I have a feeling this series is going to hit me hard (Emotionally), it feels like it's going to get pretty heavy.

Oh my. That took an interesting turn at the end. Feels like this relationship is headed in the direction of complicated.

Lmao at her being the go to person for relationship advice, shes never gonna live that down.

I'm always into teacher/teacher romance, kinda curious why she felt the need to add in the extra ultimatum at the end about breaking up, unless she doesn't trust her. My guess is she's been burned in the past by someone and this relationship is fairly new so they're still figuring things out. It would fit with the title after all.

I took it as her valuing her reputation more than the relationship. Where she can't be seen dating a worker, can't be seen as gay, something along those lines. Maybe I'm wrong, but it struck me as a red flag that she'll continue the relationship only as long as it's convenient.

Maybe her giving advice on love is how she also learns to navigate her relationship. (On a diff note, I've been reading too many crack plots that it didn't even occur to me she was being serious. I thought it was just deadpan humor lmao.)

I felt the same way, it seemed like she was more concerned with her reputation than her relationship. But considering what Cornonthekopp said about the relationship possibly being fairly new, it makes sense that they’re still figuring things out. ( tho I really do think the relationship is still pretty new, especially since the teacher mentioned she started working at the school a year ago, it’s possible the relationship began around the same time.) That perspective also ties in nicely with the title, as Cornonthekopp pointed out. :) I’m starting to think that might be the direction the manga is heading.

Also, building on what Sebbie mentioned, with all the advice the teacher is giving, it feels like she’s not just helping the kids “learn love,” but also exploring what love means for herself through her current relationship. I have a feeling things are about to get rocky and emotional, both for her and the overall story. It looks like the story is in for a deep dive into the hardships of a lesbian adult relationship, and honestly, it’s starting to look really promising if thats the case. I can’t wait to see how this series progresses! :D

so I do have to wonder because the het tag is pretty obviously here as a result of the teens in this story being straight. but, to me this kind of feels like an overreaction, I'd genuinely argue that it's not worth tagging het when it isn't applicable to the main characters and in fact gives a very wrong view of what the story will be if you're just looking at the tags to see if it's worth your time or not.

Well, it's only on the chapter instead of the series as a whole. I assume it'll act as reassurance for readers in the future that yes, you'll have to sit through twenty-odd pages of M/F high school drama, but there's gay at the end, Trust Me, Bro™.

yeah but see that's kind of my point, the het really isn't part of the story in the sense that it isn't applicable to the main characters and as a result I really don't see why it's even here. There's no need to tag for them because to do so is to pretend the het is more important to the story than it is.

The tag itself affords more importance to itself than the heterosexual side-characters actually have. Which is why I argued that it really shouldn't be here, because its very presence implies it's applicable to the main characters. Why tag for it if it's not.

This felt like a one-shot until I got to the last few pages. It really is structured like one. I'm excited to see where it goes.

The art style seems kind of old-school, and the story seems interesting, will see where it goes. But my god are these students forward, like what is it with these invasive questions?
Also that thing her gf said at the end seem weird, she's giving me toxic vibes.
Idk where this story is gonna go, but no matter what happens please don't let it become one of these disgusting ass student/teacher stories, I have that tag muted for a reason.

Love these more grounded casual shit. Feels like real conversations you would have irl. Also the kids are dumb in a very high school kid kinda way, very accurate.

This author is into age-gap, so my guess is that her relationship with her coworker is exactly the type that would end at the slightest inconvenience, they don’t really love each other, the letter will be from a female student, they will end together and the teacher will learn what love is
That’s my bet at least

I think you might be onto something with that.

I initially missed this bit of what looks like foreshadowing on my first read: https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/learning_love_ch01#8
