it feels like a lot of the other cupids are just jerks

Why does each chapter has so few pages? And to make it worse it's monthly release. I WANT MORE, it's so addicting.

The good thing is Ena is finally introduced. Now all the players are here it's gotta be more exiting onward

Premise: cupids make people fall in love to suitable partners. More of those partners, including the main character's preference, are wlw than would "actually" be (if they are not cherry-picking their jobs). Some partners happen to be of the opposite gender

Readers: preposterous vileness

Yeah, het is allowed to exist. But it would be funny if the reason Azuma is so concerned about his social standing is because he's into one of the other boys. I doubt it, but there would be some small humor there. Heck, maybe that's Ena's job.

Sometimes it's just not meant to be, I wonder if we'll ever get a situation like that (or maybe that's what is happening... idk??)

It make clear that the bullet aren´t effective always

Whoa, that was way more brutal than the pilot match, no wonder Koharu got scared for Chiyo.

If the endgame is the boy, the meddling did send them several paces back, if not out of the race altogether.

The action scenes in this manga are top tier. They're a lot more detailed and their choreography is a lot better than some traditional shonen manga that are, nominally, more explicitly about fighting than a silly yuri manga about cute girls being cupids, but with guns.

Also, for some reason, this chapter reminded me of the old girls-with-guns animes, like Noir. It's not so much the specifics of the scene, but the overall feel of a story about cute girls doing violent things with guns and the actual attention to detail used to portray and contextualize the violence.
