who here amongst us supposed adults has not uprooted their life (several times) to follow the woman they love to another country throw the first stone

In my humble opinion, the best part of the last two chapters is the fact that 'THE KISS' didn't turn into a GRS-esque muppet-makeout session

well, it should

Agreed. The prom should hear the rutting at last as they writhe on the PA button.

I had this feeling, too. She understood that Aya was important to her, but it never felt romantic to me. Maybe Mitsuki didn't really understand her feelings until Aya kissed her (though I'm not sure why she'd say "I knew it" if that were the case).

So how exactly are we reading that, “I knew it! It was just as I thought!”? I would have expected Mitsuki to be, at best, a bit shy and abashed post-kiss/mini-makeout session rather than quite so . . . what? Triumphant? Is it, “I knew her lips would be soft”? Or, “I knew she was romantically attracted to me”? Or . . .?

Obviously, it’s a positive reaction, but a little enigmatic, at least to me.

I assumed she was talking of Aya's feelings- she thought she liked her back but wasnt sure till then.

Mitsuki's reaction is one of relief.

Like, she wasn't sure Aya really had that kind of feeling for her, but the kiss and the explicit consent to the kisses validated what she thought. Hence, the "I knew it".

やっぱり in Japanese is something said when you get confirmation of something. So it's usually translated as "I knew it", "As expected", "Sure enough" etc.

I am in this picture, and I don't like it.

When I saw this chapter on her Insta, my wife and I were geeking out like the weird gremlins we are. NGL, I hope Joe goes to LA with Kanna, Mistuki is in the perfect place to take over the record store.

It's a bit weird to translate "yappari" as "Just as expected."

I also think Mitsuki may be a tad young to take on the responsibility of a shop owner, aside from all the legal stuff that would have to happen first.

I speedread this in 2 days. I honestly evaded the series when it just started because I wasn't sure if it was queerbait, but I'm happy to see it delivers. That said, I found the last arc a bit weird? Not that it would be unrealistic for Aya to get jealous like that, but the way they behaved around each other seemed a bit random more than anything. Other than that a very nice read.

Jealous? Aya didn't really get that jealous in this last arc. That was where we all thought it was going to go when the arc started and the underclassman started going after Koga, but that was a misdirect. UC was actually just interested in Mizuki's music, and Aya recognized the opportunity she presented for what it was and tried to push her to take advantage of it, even though she really, desperately wanted to ask her to prom.

She definitely got jealous during that arc though. She pushed Mitzuki to take advantage of the opportunity, but she was uncomfortable and a bit jealous at the same time, confused about how to feel. It wasn't just jealousy that was her issue, but it seemed part of it. Her behavior showed that, and chapter 108 was pretty upfront about her messy ball of feelings. It didn't turn into a whole thing, but she was still silently struggling with the situation until she was confronted and had to admit it.

Now that we know for sure that her feelings for Mitsuki were romantic in nature, it does make that part a bit more ambiguous in retrospect IMO. The MAIN thing was obviously the potential career thing, but there might have been a bit of jealousy underneath as well that Mitsuki was getting close to another girl and she didn't like that .

"we made up" is a bit of an understatement, but I'm as happy for them as I am for Narita.

Someone on Dex mentioned this, but Mitsuki had her shirt unbuttoned coming into the dance but buttoned up coming out of the room with Aya, so....you know....

Me, probably, to Narita: "You did good, son. You did good. I am proud of you."

In the last panel of the first page of last chapter, we can see the sole of both of their shoes (https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/the_guy_she_was_interested_in_wasnt_a_guy_at_all_ch117). I wasn't able to make sense of that panel before but it seems like they had an intense make out session (with Aya topping Mitsuki).

Anyone guessing what is the thing that fell on the floor in the same panel?

I think it's a petal from the roses she shoved into her uncle's hands earlier. It just looks nearly identical to the ones the bouquet is dramatically shedding whenever it shows up. Guessing she got a couple in her clothes or hair.

That's "We did make up," not "we did made up." That no good grammer being!
