Barely needed a glance to figure out the relationship dynamics between the trio

Somehow I feel Ichigo's senior who reject her would show up. But I'm not sure yet tho.

Well, aren't you glad you can just play yourself? :P

I'm so hoping for a rhrouple ending honestly. I love the trio's dynamic.

"Hey, guess what? I'm a vampire! Hahahahaha..."
"Stop it right there. I'm a holy priest. I came to cleanse you."
The power of wind love goes WOOOSH

Oh cool. Never expect the twist here ;D

Dammit, with the rivals turning out to be sworn enemies that movies should have ended with the two of them together !

XDDDDDD one of the better chapters yet, this manga is at its best when it leans fully into nonsense like that

That twist came out of nowhere! I'm invested.

I always feel bad for the rival and just want everyone to date each other. Don't have much hope in this case though.

Good job, little wingman!

And nice to see Senpai's fans immediately being fine with them being together as well thanks to the movie. :D

Yeah... feels like it would work really well here, with how much Hitomi was shown to care for Yaya, not just Ichigo. But realistically, this kind of ending barely ever happens. Sadly, I'm not getting my hopes high.

What wouldn't I give for more non-harem polyamory stories, though.

I'm half convinced now that the director wanted a repeat of that power of love scene solely because the first take wasn't shit enough for the B-movie, judging by the reaction of the audience :P

But in general, I'm really impressed how this manga pulled off some actual character development from such a nonsense premise like this stupid movie. Actually genius lmao

It's like setting off a firework, but it just fizzles out.

If disappointment was a yuri manga, this one would be an example.

Well... alright then. Guess that's it

I think the manga suffered from having dawdled too long in its gag phase before trying to develop the characters further, though it would've been hard to get a satisfying conclusion off of its original premise even if it moved faster.

That was a cute story. I enjoyed it quite a bit!
A couple nitpicks here and there (what even was Kujou's role, if not to force Yaya and Ichigo together?), but overall it always managed to put a silly smile on my face - and I really loved their silly expressions.
I hope for another extra or artist's twitter post that cements Yaya and Ichigo, but I'll have to settle for this mid-2000's yuri ambiguity.
Huge thanks to Cuetie Scans peeps; this was good stuff.

Well, RIP I guess. In retrospect Kujou's characterization was probably a mistake, since she didn't get a chance to grow any she just feels like padding to slow down the romance progress while never standing a real chance herself. Good on the author for getting paid for three volumes while only producing enough story and jokes to properly fill a one-shot lol.

Thanks for translating this, the ending was.. and ending.

Still though the journey was fun and I enjoyed the manga as a whole!

It's, huh, surprisingly inconclusive. The story was cute but this ending is a bit unexpected (both in how vague it is and how fast it came).

... upside ? Since it's not canonically dead, I can totally headcannon the OT3 ending I was hoping for as being real, Hitomi was so cute.

It kinda sucks becuase I think the story quality started declining after they introduced the rival. I liked the story for the main 2's dynamic and it was cute to see it progress so it was kind of a bummer to see their time together taken away by another character who ended up with a similar gag (and whose intro didn't do much to progress the main relationship). It was still fun for what it was though. Thanks for translating!

That’s where it faltered for me too. The balance between romance and comedy tipped too heavily toward gags, overshadowing the heart of the story—the main couple. The introduction of the new character muddled things, and if others felt the same, it’s no surprise the series didn’t last long after that shift.

I would have preferred more focus on developing the couple’s romance instead of cramming most of it into the final chapter and a half. The rival didn’t add much and was sidelined in the end, so her extensive focus felt unnecessary and took away from the romance. Still, the main pair ended up together, and the series remained silly fun overall.
