Just when it was picking up the pace! I think I'll miss the art the most, since the novel's at least out there to keep the story going—it was very fresh and had a lot of range while still representing the story well. Hope the novel keeps getting translated!

Did the scanlators originally have the impression that it was yuri before reading ahead and finding out that it was het?

It's been a fun couple months. My final tally is 16 comics/chapters by Amazaki Suika translated since the end of November, plus a few images!

Thanks for translating all of these! It's always good to see more one-shots being translated—I haven't seen this many since COVID.

I think the manga suffered from having dawdled too long in its gag phase before trying to develop the characters further, though it would've been hard to get a satisfying conclusion off of its original premise even if it moved faster.

I really like the fifth page. Up until then, it feels like your run-of-the-mill oneshot, and then bam! the actual plot comes out and whacks you and the protagonist in the face. You can almost hear the record scratch!

It started off so strong and now it's gotten so bogged down... I hope what the author has coming up can actually move the story forward a little.

I remember the author talking about kicking up the romance level in the story and wondering how she could make it any gayer. It got gayer.

Kinda interesting how neither Lumiao or Yuxuan're wearing their usual school outfits at the end--they're wearing the plain uniform, which is almost the median of Yuxuan's sporty uniform and Lumiao's done-up uniform. That could just be me reading into them changing their outfits with the season too much, though. Even that has some interesting connections--springtime for what?
