Hrm. I'm thinking that Yoshi was and still is hostile to try and get Hana to leave him so that she can be herself. I've seen it happen so many times in manga and other media that it just feels like that's what's happening. It's always possible that it's just as stated, but still. This by no way excuses his behavior if that comes to light, he's still being a dick.
Is Hanako really a witch or something??? I'm very curious.
Half blooded, perhaps?
Maybe! There's a possibility she doesn't have powers (until now) but she sees other witches' powers
She is super strong and apparently doesn’t have charm that works on people. Or she’d have it easier in life than she has. She might either be half or simply the variety witches is broader than the one we know for sure seen.
Hana seems to be projecting her own self-hatred (and possibly internalized misogyny?) onto Sadako, who for her part seems largely amused/curious lol. Looking forward to seeing how Sadako punishes Hana's shitty friend!

I called it! Though I was surprised that Hana loves cutesy things when she's alone.

The possibility of the variety of witches makes me so excited. And the fact she's strong might me an indication of Hana being really a witch too...
With her looks, there's 99% chance the "black" witch is actually of Brazilian origin.
Japan has a large immigrant population from Brazil, a lot of them being halfs. And conversely, the largest amount of Japanese people living outside Japan are in Brazil.
