It goes... failed RHCP concert events, school goes on break and they don't see each other for a while, they run into each other on the return to school with the cherry blossoms where Aya gets flustered again, and now they are back at school and Aya is realizing she has an ongoing "problem" with being around Koga since the bedroom event.

Wtf were the 3 chapters before this they really didn't need to be drawn. Even though the progress is faster than a lot other manga it's still feels slow? We got good progress today though.

Yeah, uh-huh.

There's a lot of people, Japanese lesbians especially, who have problems with "yuri" as a genre and the term's all encompassing use and the trope baggage it carries. There's a lot of people who feel the same way about calling any m/m story "yaoi". I don't think there was ever any chance this story wasn't gay, considering the author and everything about their twitter profile ("I love the love of women" in the description, almost all the art is of two women kissing or otherwise being romantic, etc), not to mention everything that's been happening in the story at every turn lol. It's just not being told within the predefined box of a specific genre.

And another data point for the proposition that when a Japanese author says, “This isn’t going to be yuri” it’s best to wait and see how things actually shake out.

Sometimes it really doesn’t become fully yuri according to Dynasty’s (comprehensive and to my mind quite appropriate) definition, like in A Tropical Fish Yearns For Snow.

And sometimes it means a gyaru crushes so hard on a cool nerd girl that she almost pees her pants.
