That was very sweet ^_^ I've seen the ''fireworks at the summer festival'' trope about a million times at this point but this adds a nice little bow to it. As a rapidly approaching middle age lesbian, I'll take a happy story about older same sex couple every chance I can get !

The closest one to do this I know of is Adachi to Shimamura in the light novels; It shows them as teenagers with all the details you need to know, shows some bits of their adult life (enough to know how they got to that point and what comes after) and their elder life to a very emocional extent; it's still not perfectly what you want but gets pretty close and there's probably more books to come and add more detail to all that (the "anime special" books also show alternate realities where they would still get together what I think is pretty cool)
