Ch.49 beg to differ,i'm pretty sure Kei back down on those feelings because Rei feared a rejection and played the "it was a joke" card. She still has those feelings but because dumby Rei is dumb and had to go "joke desu", she think Rei didn't have feelings.

First Rei tries water with all the romance between girls talk, Kei is unwelcoming. Then that slipped confession, the situation gets dangerous, there is the risk it's all over. Then Rei compliments her hair and Kei makes it short the next day, and keep it at it ever since. That's a big slap on the face.

Nothing of that tells us "Kei really likes her that way". And that was before Rei became a clown.

Kei is aware of Rei's feelings, the last chapter all but confirms it, thought it was obvious even before. It's just that Kei wants to keep the distance, and Rei is complying.

It's not "teenagers worrying over nothing", it's teenagers coming to terms with their own identity, teen years are literally the moment in our lives where we're trying to figure shit out and that's the story we're reading.

As it is nothing will change in their relationship not even in 5 or 10 years. Both are perfectly fine with the status quo, and there isn't any intervention from the outside. Negoro tried to be a resonable mediator, but it didn't work out. At that point no matter what happens they would be back to square 1.

Gods, no! I’m really rooting for Fuji and Kishiya to end up together! Fuji and Akane are somehow related i think or at least know each other from childhood? https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/school_zone_ch64, i noticed the black-haired girl young Fuji was talking to has a similar hairstyle as Akane but it was longer in the flashback. The plot twist of the past two chapters has completely wrecked my previous understanding of the relationship dynamics in this manga. I thought Fuji's story was reaching the climax, but in reality it's probably just beginning.

ohhh, wait you're right xD I got confused by the school uniform ^^" I always thought she was a college student, but looking back at the previous chapter where kishiya's first name (yuka) is revealed, she is wearing that uniform xD (I also completely didn't put two and two together when she was called 'yuka-chan' xD)

oof, boy...so Fuji is in !ove with Kishiya Yuka, but Yuka seems to want more out of her friendship/relationship with the new(?) girl - who is either dodging her implying her wishes or is completely ignorant of them and just doesn't feel the same :S

let's just hope whatever drama may or may not result out of this gets properly resolved and we don't just get back to zero (coughs-in-rei&kei)
