The girl used to be a brick, a wall and she's actually the one who fell first ??? they're both the most oblivious person ever then? good god.

I mean, well, not saying it's bad, it's really cute and I can see why Yuzu would "brush it off" everything that Minami did because she kind of already "accepted" that they're just friends, getting that info from past information, info that actually changed but, because of the status quo of her mind, she brushed it off.
Okm I can see that. But...idk, I think there were better plot lines to use but I'm excited to see what happens next nonetheless! like what the autor gonna do with that :] /genuine

lol I wonder if it's somewhat aphrodisiac?? Not as an individual thing, but as a vampire characteristic from Mistress, it'd make a lot of sense.

As a blood sucking vampire, having some type of neurologic(or aphrodisiac?) "poison" injected to make the victim actively WANT to give their blood to you would be marvelous and well thought-out, but I bet it's nothing more than just "It's a GL manga and they're the main couple" typathing. Excited for the next chapters nonetheless though :]

Dps de serem tão pisadas, fudidas completamente lascadas nesse mangá essas beesha merece isso pq vije maria de DEUS hein.

Anyway, really loved this manga from beginning to end for sure, it was a big roller coaster and I'm really happy that these girls could just... finally relax lmao, they absolutely deserve it. I'll be happily waiting for what Sal Jiang is prepping up next, it'll surely be a blast.

This manga surely gets huge text walls, which I understand but also don't a bit? Hiroko has shit going on and has a strong sense of responsability, I didn't expect her to wrap things up so quickly tbf, not until she works things out with that happened in the past 'cause she won't be able to continue without wrapping that up.

But fr now though, Ayaka DESERVES an Oscar or somethnig idk, ANY trophy for that patience and resiliience, she's so passionate holy shit. Whether they end up being together or not, this woman needs a reward, she deservers one after all this lmaoo

DAMN the way I gasped with the last chapter holy shit, the women at the bar really did both Hiroko and Ayaka dirty there.

Enfim todo episódio desse mangá é bafo, 3 tapa na cara e 1 soco no coração Sal Jiang eu te venero.

Unnecessary incest there but after reading so many mangas for almost a decade, I'm unfortunately growing used to it. Though I do have to admit it makes just a bit more sense for it to happen with them, with the sensory sharing and all but yea, still, not into incest at all.
Aside from that, amazing manga so far anyway :)

YESS, explanation to her, rather confusing, reasonings !! It was inevitable on such a good story though. Imo it was understandable before the whole Chinatsu and the company story, but confusing 'cause it just felt like something was missing and they went a long way here.

Instead of clearing the table of all the bullshit, she just keeps adding more bullshit to the table

Just adding what I think to what Vankomycin said: and isn't that human-like as shit? I share the same feeling of also liking the "HEA" endings 'cause it really is a great feeling of relief and payoff, but I'm -also- here for how romance can ACTUALLY happen irl, with the concept that the most realistic story we could get is the one that sometimes things makes no sense, and the most unrealistic stories are the ones where everything falls into place like a glove right away.
Romance, love, human connections are simply... not simple, Hiroko is going through her shit, doing things to deal with her own shit and ofc it didn't feel like clean waters exactly because, probably, her mindset is: I really, really love and cherish this amazing person who also treats me well, but this same person basically sacrificed something for me to succeed. Now there's this really new, very interesting and daring person wanting to interact with me in a way that could pretty much destroy what the other person sacrificed for. She even said in the last page "I'll make sure this chance will not go to waste". So I understand why there's shit on top of shit 'cause honestly, if I was in her shoes, I'd be confused as hell on what to do now too...

Personally, when a story has these many rocks on its path, if the ending end up to be "Happily ever after", the feeling of happiness and relief I'm gonna get for these characters to finally be happy after so many battles is far bigger than stories like Can't Defy the Lonely Girl, where the main couple had tense situations, but not as tense and as complex as Hiroko and Ayaka's. (It did have the potential, but I at least felt like Kashikaze wanted to water down things?)
But if it ends and they're not together I'm personally also ok with it... romance doesn't always works. If I wanna see pairings have their HEA at the end I'll just.. read another story.

Damn. Had to drink some water to read the last chapter(14) fr, poor Risa like holy SHIT, she went dry to get that cake and Ayaka's reaction surely was like a stomach punch, she deservers a "Biggest fucking balls" trophy.

This manga follows that old and tested plot, giving the heroine Ayaka a majorly problematic love interest in Hiroko. Normally, all the readers should react like Charlotte and Emily Brontë would[...]Trouble is, 90% of the readers are reacting like Anne would... that is, they think Hiroko is a slimeball and Ayaka needs to find herself a better lover. Ooops. This is not what Sal Jiang had in mind when she created Hiroko.

I understand and kind of agree honestly, though I do have to admit I like how Hiroko is even more problematic than other love interests, so much so to the point of being genuinely quite unlikable. I mean, people are complicated... and so are their reasons to react and live the way they do, so to see a character like her who apparently has more flaws than fortes, makes me interested to understand her even more = )

I had to read the last currently available chapter(13) like 3 times to understand very clearly what was going on.
It actually, genuinely looks like it can end up being Ayaka x Risa ???? Like, yes i've seen ppl saying that Hiroko has more plot but so what? Risa is a better candidate at the moment, it looks very simple to me tbh...

And it's also not the final chapter so maybe Risa could get some plot to back her up? I mean, I personally like the """main couple"""(not really a couple ofc but it was/is? the official duo yk), but with the last chapter I'm actually seeing Risa as an ok competitor if she gets some plot.
I've dated girls who weren't ready too and, while it's not a problem, I felt drawn back since I'm already outed for years if it makes sense, so I personally very much understand why Risa thinks Ayaka shouldn't be with Hiroko... maybe they could end up helping her out? idk

I still really like Hiroko with Ayaka though, I hope it works out.

It's so funny how the girl always finds a way to say "She's so cool!!!!" in almost every page like YEa girl we got it on the 7th time you said it, she is cool! lmaoo

Think about it, what would her being ace do to the story

Explain why she's so oblivious, for one. Adds a possible angle to the narrative beyond "they finally get together after the author runs out of ideas for gags, probably three pages before the story ends." Also means representation for a frequently forgotten demographic.

Wouldn't say it "explains it", ppl can simply be very oblivious. I have tons of ace friends who aren't for example, but >I< am, and a lot, like I don't judge Yuzu 'cause I honestly wouldn't get what Minami was implying either and being ace doesn't always explain it.

It could be though, of course. There's always a possibility, but it's just not "it explains why she's so oblivious".

Damn, wake up guys, new level of useless lesbian just dropped!!

This is just amazing, like holy shit, if the girl strips and says "I'm yours" she gonna think she's on drugs before thinking she is, in fact, not straight hhahahah

That's putting it too simply, here's a fan translation of the notice https://mangadex.org/chapter/942e0b64-8de7-4060-9328-a6ebaaf27c00

The author didn't simply lose motivation, she is in fact doing a lot and you can check the twitter for that, in fact, I dare to say we'll see a new work more focused on action for a while... School zone wasn't cancelled, the author just wanted to try new things but it wasn't possible to handle both works at once so giving it a break was the best choice, unless you wanted a rushed ending.

I like her words, we have limited time in this world, so let's just do what we really want while we can. I'm sure new ideas for school zone will be born in the back of her mind in the meantime, for now I'm excited to see what she comes up with.

Thank you for clearing things up! I rlly wanted a translation of the notice.
This manga is my literally top 1 of all times, it's very dear to me for years so I do feel the absolute worst to hear it's on hiatus, but knowing how breathtaking this artist can be, I'll be alongside them wherever and whenever. Sad to think that it could take years for it to go out of hiatus, but thinking of seeing other works from her is veery exciting.

This manga is weird, it's like its own gag isn't it? it's weird as fuck, it's also really funny but also really cute, but yknow, even after several odd ass chapters putting up with weird ass stuff... I just cannot with Momose.
I'm still at chapter 51 but until now, every time I see a chapter about her and Kana I just immediately think "God, this is disgusting". It's not ilegal, but she still creeps me the FUCK out...

Yokoe has some internal homophobia going on exactly because REI has it,

No, Rei doesn't have any. She is aware of her feelings towards Kei, accept them, and perfectly fine with girls loving other girls.

lol I wrote it wrong, It's Kei, it went through my revision without me noticing. Editing now, but everything else still stands.

1) Kei don't love Rei back romantically and sooner or later will find a boyfriend. 2) She does love her back, but then all the plot suddenly looks really fucking stupid. Just a bunch of teenagers worrying over nothing instead of finally fucking each other.

Absolute nonsense. Human relationships and social interactions simply do not work that simplistic.
What I would bet is that Kei actually likes her back, but perhaps because of emotional imaturity, she didn't connect the dots yet, she didn't connect that what she's feeling/what she thinks about Yokoe is romantic love, the author jokes about it in the maid chapter, "Excuse-me, I don't understand how it's only a problem when Yokoe calls you cute." Exactly because it makes no sense other than Yokoe liking her back and the fact that she doesn't sees it is ironic and funny.
Yokoe has some internal homophobia going on exactly because KEI has it, SHE was the one who said two girls wouldn't work, HER backstory made her think that close-minded and her self-discovery would naturally be harder and slower. It's not "teenagers worrying over nothing", it's teenagers coming to terms with their own identity, teen years are literally the moment in our lives where we're trying to figure shit out and that's the story we're reading. It's teenagers trying to figure out their own lives.

I was the type of kid who already knew what I liked before I was 11, but even after entering my teens, there was a lot of crap that I needed to figure out about myself and that's basically what i'd say is going on with Yokoe too, she's figuring her self-worth but instead of putting herself first, she's thinking "No I like the status quo", but why does she? She stays in that situation because she's scared of losing her best friend/the person she loves. It's the hard decision of choosing to let go of something that is hurting you(thus prioritizing yourself). After all we saw countless times the girls saying that it's like she's getting dumber as the days goes by and I have a faint recolection of Yatsude saying that probably the reason why she's like this is because of the unrequited love she's trying to hide, only to stab her in the back by deteriorating her mental health, look at it as a defense mechanism.

Sora's mother lives in Hokkaido and the class trip has brought them to Hokkaido, so I am assuming her mother has made her return. If I recall correctly, the mother's permission for Sora to stay behind was temporary and conditional. And the matter between them hasn't been fully resolved yet.

The mother's condition was until she graduated high school. I don't think there is much reason to bring her back.

Sora could want to formally introduce her future wife to her...

That kinda choice isn't something to do out of the blue, specially with a mother like that. I'd also bet on Sora founding her mom again, but I have NO idea on how/why/what could happen from it.

I do think it'll be something tense tho(does't need to be about her mother), we're on a nice part here: The main couple is happy, they both have an idea for the future-ish(Sora has that cooking/dessert hobby and tbh it's only a matter of time for her to realise that she wants to open a dessert shop, restaurant or something in the industry), Ayaka's anxiety during tests were a core problematic from her character that has now been put in the past + Wakana and Yuina's relationship also looks to be going rlly well. Yea, the thing with the other 2 is a nice way to built up some anxiety, but It could leat to the same narrative we had from when Sora's mother first showed up: A lot of anxiety coming from the main plot + shit hitting the fan with a big ass twist. I'm excited for the next chap nonetheless though.

Hana Ni Arashi is the epitome, the embodiment of "Gays can't have shit these days". I'm deadass, sometimes it looks like their relationship as a couple revolves around inconveniences ^^''.
Really thou, these girls' relationship level is how I thought couples were when I was 8-ish or something haha

The thing about this is that Paimon does look, in fact, like a toddler and ya it's weird, comparing it with shit worse than this wouldn't make it any less bad.

Promised everything and delivered as promised. Easy top 3 nsfw manga, it's short but it's completely drenched with a dense and passionate atmosphere, like that type of passion that burns like hell and it's like you could cut the tense atmosphere with a knife.

Completely thought it was just going to be a really pretty styled, straight-forward, nsfw porn-like GL, but this is honestly way better lmao
