@Smolgirl @Bekichan Are you relatively new to anime/manga? Young girls almost always use their name instead of 'I'. Its a Japan thing. If you are used to it then it makes them seem TOTALLY child like and cute.

Ofcourse subs will often not include that detail which is very unfortunate and bad translating imo but you can still hear it in anime if you pay attention even if its not in the subs. Its normally elementary school age girls and middle school girls to a lesser extent. Very few highschool girl characters do it unless they want to sound cutesy.

As Kojiro481 mentioned one of the more famous middle schoolers who still does it is Akari from yuru yuri.
