The secret the new character knows is probably something completely different, such as that the teacher has a secret love of some kid's anime show. As a result the MC will accidentally spill the real secret to this new character during her investigation shenanigans.

Hehe, I'm guessing it's just another "scummy" side of the mc.
Since the beginning, the author has tried very hard to make a point that this heroine has many flaws; and has been especially insistent in showing that she's super lazy!
Making her a slugabed simply reinforces the point.

I'd be extremely surprised if Konatsu actually knew that about Satou. It's probably more something like "she likes to sleep in the nude" at worst...

I'll grant you that Makino was rather un-scummy in this chapter, so especially the latter half didn't entertain quite as well as before.

I do think that spending that money on the date may bite the MC in the ass later when her parents ask for the textbooks or maybe she will need a very important text book and not have enough money for it so I am curious how the MC will handle a situation like that.

I also do wonder whats up with the girl that knows a secret of the teacher, she's being a bit too chummy with the MC I feel. I think it's good for the MC to get a friend but this feels like there is a reason for it.
