But it seems kinda disjointed- I know it has some jumping about in time but also, is it random unrelated skits with the same characters or are they all meant to be in the same universe?

I think its kinda FAR less like that then you think- because we all have a pretty low general awareness of what we look like. These twins would be seeing each other far more than themselves- the awareness of who we are isnt hugely tied to what we see in a mirror imo.

In fact it might be the case that when they look in a mirror they think- I look like my twin! rather than seeing the twin and thinking it looks like themselves.

That line of thought always reminds me of questions like "would you fuck a clone of yourself" (or other variations specifying just how identical the clone/doppleganger whatever is to yourself)
My personal answer tends to be "probably" depending on the finer details, but that's more because consent is sexy and I'd give it a try rather than actually being attracted to myself. ‾\_(ツ)_/‾

This is a really weird alternate universe lol. It's so weird to see them openly sharing their feelings. Also twincest is good in theory, but practice hmm. I think I just feel uneasy because the series just starts out with consent, and I don't know how they ended up confessing to each other and stuff like that.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the description of this series outright states that it's the pre-serialized version and thus precedes the Unrequited series, which is evident in the art style differences.
