It might just be you've seen the art style before on Blue Drop, in which case, I understand fully why your ominous radar is being triggered.

Yoshitomi Akihitos manga is really impactful for how tame it is. Loved this chapter.

I keep forgetting the chapters end abruptly because I initially binged this and it flows smoothly that way. Everytime a new chapter is released, I feel a little bad for getting too excited to keep reading. Not really complaining bout the length, just sharing my lack of foresight.
