It IS by Higashiyama Shou after all. Minor details aside, as long as he's not doing any of his usual het loli stuff he does dish out good stuff under those two categories.

This is vampire done RIGHT. The comedy in this series aside, when it comes to the serious parts, acknowledging the darker side of the vampire mythos is what makes them so hot. The fact that getting her blood sucked makes Ichika feel aroused..that KISS. Kissing Aria while she's still got Ichika's own blood all over her lips.. Hell. Yes.

So was the swirly eye that Ichika got just meant to convey dizziness/being overwhelmed, or did Aria manage to "command" her just a tad?

The former. It's a different set of eyes from what the dude Khara hypnotizes gets.

Kissing with blood is pretty...not hot. But Aria kissing is still hot.

Umm, that’s a big contradiction there... but pretty funny. I think it’s better to be more specific in saying “God bless yuri vampires”... it fits in with this site.

Ann Rice would agree with your statement considering her Le’Stat vampire novels are basically the same thing.
