First time I've read something that uses alcohol in such a sweet, non-adult way. It's a bit hard to digest, but quite unique. I like it.

It's interesting that until now, the author has avoided drawing Pesha and Sveta standing side by side, because otherwise we'd realize that the daughter is a full head taller than her mom. Perhaps symbolic of children outgrowing their parents, physically as well as spiritually?

Still, I wonder how many fights will be resolved through kind words instead of, you know, fighting.

Most that involve Shy, most likely. That's been rather clear ever since she impressed the other heroes by rescuing Koishikawa through solving her inner conflict instead of destroying the corrupted parts.

It slowly dawns on me that Shy is actually a magical girl with the guise of a Western superhero. :-)

Do you think all of the kids Stigma made were torn from the hearts of heroes? I don't recall hearing about Teru's family outside of her grandfather. It might get a little samey if it's always hero fights mom or a dead relative or something. It's about time we get introduced to some new heroes, too. Spirits is great and good shipping fodder for those of us always on the look out for yuri, but we've been teased with shots of other heroes since chapter one.

So i wasn't that far when i was saying Sveta reasoning was the reasoning of a child. Feel like the whole manga is indeed about Childs vs Adults. Stigma's goal is not bad per se but it's just too utopic. You not gonna go far with a world with only childrens. One there is the reproduction yes, but there also what did you do ? Is there rules ? Is there a leader ? Fitting since it's a child's goal, thinking the adults are the sources of all problems. The only questions i had know is what did make Stigma like this and why did he had that goal ?

@Lilliwyt - indeed, his plan has a child’s level of logic to it, which makes sense. Likely, he hasn’t thought of anything outside of “adults bad, children good.” I’m willing to place a bet that his past has something to do with either being a hero or related to a hero that f’d his whole world up somehow.

Now that Pesha's mom knows Shy, can they just confirm the relationship already? I need to see undeniable proof of Yuri.

From what I just seen it look like Pesha's mon just give them her pleasing and the conversation at the last page just seem like a marry proposal.

I'll take it. Human relationships are as varied as humans themselves, and romance isn't the be-all-and-end-all of them. :-)

Is true, this is an action series with super heroes and drama, not a yuri work, is not promoted as yuri, is not structured for romance... if yuri happens it would be a surprise (and maybe at the very end) so if you're here waiting for that you'll be disappointed. Is like reading kimetsu no yaiba and wondering why he hasn't kissed any girl yet.
