So what does Baiser mean in Magia Baiser’s name?

So far it looks to me like either kiss or Meringue which is a sweet dessert that is beaten stiff. Both seem to work in their own way.

In french, Baiser either means (as a noun) kiss or (as a verb) fuck.

I suppose the author went for kiss, but given the manga I'm not 100% sure.

I would think that the author's intent would be one of these two: 3 or 4
1.[Kiss]
2.[Fuck]
3. (vulgar slang) to prevail over someone, fuck, screw
Synonyms: avoir, berner, enculer
L’enfoiré croyait m’avoir, mais je l’ai bien baisé.
The asshole thought he had me, but I screwed him.
4. (vulgar slang) to break, deteriorate
Synonym: casser
En forçant sur l’écrou, j’ai baisé le filetage.
By forcing the nut, I broke the screw thread.

Or a combination of the two... to prevail over someone and break them...

Fukken followed. Just like Utena, this is everything I didn’t know I wanted, and I need more.

Utena needs to keep her new dog on a tight leash, or her school will become a bloodbath.

I looked at the Japanese version. It's そんなの推せる, literally "I can support that". The verb used for support is 推す (osu), which for example also idol fans will use when talking about supporting their idols. They call their favorite idol, the one they support and cheer on most, their 推し (oshi). With that in mind, I can see how someone might arrive at this translation.

I hated the "I stan that" translation as well. Too lazy to Google it right now to double-fact-check but for those unaware (and I know there's at least a few of you) "stan" is slang for being an obsessive fan of something, or someone who is an obsessive fan of something. Came from an Eminem song or something.

The song is literally called "Stan." I knew "stan" referred to an obsessive fan, but I never knew why; however, one day, I figured it out without looking it up. Anyway, I think it fits perfectly here since she's really crazy about the magical girls, which was very apparent in this chapter with how she was trying to keep her collection and all. She was practically depressed about loosing it the entire time.
