I liked Mei from the first way more than Yuzu, who’s a sweetheart, but a goofball. That’s the main thing I liked about the series—the crackling dynamic between the whip-smart sexy one and the kind-hearted fluff chick.

Now Mei sits trembling on the couch clutching her teddy bear . . .

I think the goldfish in my tank have more chemistry than the characters in this series lol.

I love Yuzu though, she actually tries to go somewhere with all this.

I second this, Mei has always been my favorite character.

This might not be a popular opinion, but I don't think their relationship is working at all. Mei is right, she doesn't suit Yuzu. Actually, the way she's now, she doesn't suit anyone. She's too immature to be in a relationship. She needs a shrink more than anything.

On another topic...I have always supported and defended Citrus by every means, and always kept a positive outlook on the series but...what is even happening rn? Where's the progress? When are they gonna fuck? When will Mei stop molesting Teddy-san? I am getting kinda frustrated dude.

tbh, I would not be surprised if Mei's insecurity will be a plot device for a major story arc in the future (like "giving each other space arc"?) but seeing how the story is going so far - monthly slice of life stand-alone chapters - i feel is just a wishfull thinking.

However, they must end together otherwise the ending of the manga would had been for nothing...unless this is truly a spin off.

When Mei says “it’s nothing”, it’s definitely not nothing.

I waited 2 f*cking months and what did I get ??? NO HARUMATSU CONTENT !!! This chapter was so boring. The only reason I read this chapter was because Himeko was there (I freaking love her) Can Mei & Yuzu please leave Citrus plus ?? They're irrelevant. Sabu should show Harumin's & Matsuri's backstory.

Himeko is a cute fluffball, I hope she will get more relevant than just being "a good friend" for someone. Citrus in general has quite a few nice girls that need more yuri. I really like Yuzu as well, icequeen Mei should be thankful for her.
