Obligatory comment about stretch

Anyway yeah, I don't trust this to be good but more because I've not been a fan of Shou's recent non-yuri works alongside his yuri ones.

Author aside, I've not once read anything with lesbian vampires that wasn't seriously flawed in some way. The novels in particular are basically all garbage of the worst kind.

Oh well. Once more into the breach ...

Well at the very least this first chapter started off with talking about being free to love whoever you happened to love. And Ichika is already enamoured with the grandma's little gaijin vamp, so... So perhaps it won't be the horrible bait that Stretch became. Heh. Though stories that involve immortals or long-lived individuals that end up in romantic relationships with multiple generations kind of hit a weird squick spot with me.

I agree it certainly sounds like the verbal equivalent of a kid with 2 different color playdoughs just mashing them together and going "LOOK! YAY!".

"Vampires"? And their "peers"? squash "VAMPEERZ"! YAY!

Well, I loved Prism, but it was cancelled because of author's mistakes. I loved Stretch too. Really cool slice of life, even though it lacked some resolution of the various plot threads at the end.

I hope her learned his lesson and will develop something good here. I'm interested.

Well, I don't know who this Shou might be or if he/she write good plots, but I didn't like the artstyle :/

Oh look it's my favorite artist I'm not sure what to think about.

Looks nice! And I'm always in for such laid back, stoic protagonists.

Mmm, I'm not sure I'm feeling it so far. I'll have to give it a couple more chapters to decide though.

Long story short, people didn't like the author's prior manga (Stretch) because they thought it was gonna end with explicit yuri like the one before it (Prism).

I'm okay with this

Well, Stretch was a pretty spectacularly intentional bait, and people are always going to be salty over the tracing scandal, either because they didn't care about the tracing and are buttmad it ended, or who are buttmad that a manga author did such a blatant plagiaristic thing.

I personally like the art style. My own personal art style somehow ended up "manga-ish" (long before I knew what manga was, mind) so I'm always a bit jealous of those who have a more realistic flavor.

I thought Stretch was OK, but admittedly I didn't go in with a expectation of canon yuri....

This looks OK so far.
