Sadly, it's not quite the same effect as an actual kiss since it leaves room for nagging doubt, but the fact the artist girl immediately picked up on the vibe was refreshing. In a lot of stories like this we would be looking at 20+ chapters of the MC remaining completely oblivious to the affection despite her suitor strait up yuri mauling her repeatedly.

Someone sounds a little bitter over a “particular” manga. Still though, we made it to the infirmary in record time.

Now everyone who does some drawings as a hobby is a mangaka, huh?
