We got two Nanoha doujins and a new manga chapter these last two days, and this one even is almost 20 years old. Truly a Christmas miracle.

I can't believe Fate is even more of a badass, dashing prince in this manga. All the more reason to look forward to her meeting Nanoha again, we all know the second they lay eyes on each other, Fate is devolving into moeblob mode.

Fate is looking so cool in this manga, she never disappoints. Hope she gets her prince-ponytail when we see her new barrier jacket.
Depending on how the plot progresses, I wouldn't be surprised if Nanoha ends up fighting Fate-fangirls instead of robots.

I wonder if this one is going to cover Nanoha's near fatal injury (I think it was only shown as a brief flashback somewhere? I think the event occurred after A's and before Strikers?). If that is the case then Fate may not show up till later.

People believe that Nanoha's incident got changed by what happened at the end of Detonation, which quickly got swept under the rug anyway. But who knows, this is an independent continuity, and they can diverge (or not) from the original continuity as much as they want.
At least the Japanese have been pointing out that in this timeline Fate didn't fail her S rank exam twice, as she did in the original, where she was too worried about Nanoha being in the hospital to perform properly.

This is an interesting first chapter, it's different than the usual Nanoha, but so far it doesn't seem like a bad new direction. The art is also nice.
That said, I hope Fate joins Nanoha soon in the next chapter, they both together have been part of the initial marketing, so hopefully they start flirting soon.
And yeah, Exceeds follows the "new" continuity of the movies, so this is a new timeline for NanoFate to marry and adopt Vivio all over again.

Such a wholesome ending. I'm happy that this manga ran for so long.
