Fate is looking so cool in this manga, she never disappoints. Hope she gets her prince-ponytail when we see her new barrier jacket.
Depending on how the plot progresses, I wouldn't be surprised if Nanoha ends up fighting Fate-fangirls instead of robots.

I wonder if this one is going to cover Nanoha's near fatal injury (I think it was only shown as a brief flashback somewhere? I think the event occurred after A's and before Strikers?). If that is the case then Fate may not show up till later.

People believe that Nanoha's incident got changed by what happened at the end of Detonation, which quickly got swept under the rug anyway. But who knows, this is an independent continuity, and they can diverge (or not) from the original continuity as much as they want.
At least the Japanese have been pointing out that in this timeline Fate didn't fail her S rank exam twice, as she did in the original, where she was too worried about Nanoha being in the hospital to perform properly.

This is an interesting first chapter, it's different than the usual Nanoha, but so far it doesn't seem like a bad new direction. The art is also nice.
That said, I hope Fate joins Nanoha soon in the next chapter, they both together have been part of the initial marketing, so hopefully they start flirting soon.
And yeah, Exceeds follows the "new" continuity of the movies, so this is a new timeline for NanoFate to marry and adopt Vivio all over again.

I see that China still obsessed with NanoFate, I'm glad that in this chapter Nanoha was their magical girl anime of choice. The title on the tv, in Japanese, says "Mahou Shoujo Lyrical NanoFate" by the way. Also, "Bloom intro Tropical Fish" lol.

I was pleasantly surprised after reading this final chapter, good on the author for writing something so atypical and making it work.

Actually curious: Has there ever been a school council vice-president in the history of the yuri genre who wasn't at the very least crushing on the (current, former) president? Cannot think of any off the top of my head. :-/

Pretty sure it's a requirmement stipulated for postulating to that position. I remember a couple of years ago a small group of activisits in Japan were complaining about this discriminatory practice against heterosexual students that wanted to become the vice-president.

That's one way to lie to your readers from the title, the heroine was exceptionally weak to the villainess.
