Wtf. I've ben avoiding this kind of stuff. But I already started reading. And I trusted there was no tag of whatever horror's gonna happen. This is gonna haunt me for days. I really hope there's at least depressing as fuck tag since tragedy would be a spoiler.

Yeah, i was thinking since it has a drama tag it would at least end with someone breaking up with each other one party suffers but didn't expect someone dying

Please do not tag this one with tragedy or depressing as that spoils the entire story, rendering the most important dramatic parts null (including all the painstaking steps the author takes that you only notice on a second read). Or ghosts.

The problem with tagging a story like this with tragedy type tags is they end up being huge spoilers. There was another one shot ghost story on here that I can't remember the name of which I had spoiled for me thanks to the tags.

Some sleeping pills can have a very nasty after effect where they leave you very groggy the next day and can struggle staying awake. Especially combined with exhaustion from insomnia and emotion exhaustion and depression.

This should have the "Depressing as Fuck" tag!

Cool idea but it would require some pretty serious work to add it and retrofit all the tags in the library up to this point.

I’ll bet Hiro likes that other model (she mentioned how much prettier she looks in the magazine), which is maybe another reason why she didn’t introduce Chiharu as her girlfriend. As for the end, I don’t think it was suicide. As others said, she probably fell asleep in the bathtub. Prescription sleeping meds are strong and can actually be quite dangerous, especially the side effects. Doctors don’t usually prescribe them to younger people and definitely not for “fourteen days in a row” since they’re addictive. Anyway, I agree with you, Chiharu is probably forced into this cycle of eternal suffering due to her unresolved regrets

I do feel that putting a tragedy tag will be a big spoiler. Given how innocuous the beginning looked. Weirdly I'm ok with the Depressing as fuck tag, although technically, both implies tragic things will happen. I'd just stick with the drama tag.

The author handled this trope pretty well. Usually for these "she was dead all along!" stories, you can see it coming from a mile away, but I didn't see it coming at all here.

The bathtub drowning is really sad and it reminds me of what happened in Gunjo rip :(.

I really like the ending linking them both together, also it leaves me with many questions. Like with how fast she drifted away how much did Haru care for Chiharu? And was she interested in the other model? If so was it from the start?
