It works! It used to be called "pursuing" lol A friend of mine did it, she pursued a girl she had become friends with for over 3 years and the girl finally fell in love with her. Now they've been together for around 2 years. She is a champ, and didn't even date anyone else during the period (incredible). But I don't recommend it, it's high risk-high reward.

And a guy I know pursued the same girl for 7 years(!!!). They are happily married now so he must have done something right.

I have to say that this isn't completed, I mean, yeah, the principal story is finished, but the tankobon has more chapters (I bought this in japanesse because I had forgot this would be in english... But oh well, just saying it).

IIRC, the only additional chapter in the tank should be Anaerobic Love.
