Don't say that, push ups (or any kind of exercise tbh) can be really hard for some reason, some years ago I use to work out a lot and I have to tell you, while I could pick a lot of weight in back and leg exercises (after a few moths I was already using machines to their maximum capacity) I was never really good at biceps work out or with the bench press.

What I'm trying to say is that you just need to take things slow, with time your buddy will start to adapt and you can work it a little harder and maybe be like the girl in your avatar XD. It is already awesome that you have the disposition to work out, keep doing your best and I'm rooting for you friend

Now about this chapter...this new character is really anoing, she could be a horrible person and a interesting character, but she just isn't. :(

I wonder if body type doesn't have anything to do with it. I've always been scrawny as hell no matter how fit I am. So that may have an impact on how easy it is for me to do 30 push ups.

Rest in peace, MMA mango, you looked so promising in the beginning, but I can not take you seriously any more.

I only have one word : lol.

Technically, those are three words.

Hey, hey. Just met this new character Today and I already want to carve this bitch's face in.

Talk about an over the top psycho.

Finally got some time to read the new chapters. I can't say I'm too surprised with the new character. Aki was already pretty bad and while a bit of a lull would be expected normally you also wouldn't expect the next opponent to be much better than her.

oh well, at least that'll make Hana look forward to kicking the sh*t out of her in the tournament

Okay, I totally dislike the new character and I'm pleased to see Hana standing up to her. Also, she's freaking crazy to have Fu-chan expelled over something so stupid.

So chapter 10 went like:
"Hey Hana, want to smash someone's face in at a tournament?" - "Probably not"
New character appears
"Now I very much do!"

I stand corrected. Violence is always the answer. And solves all of our problems.

Silly, violence isn't the answer, explosions are!

I can't wait to see Hanaka shows her brutal expression when the time comes.

My heart easily forgets all previous mistakes with a beach episode, unforgivable

I must clean my spirit.

Leaving the bitch aside, this was a good chapter... But I still strongly believe, winning is just not enough.

I like the main characters, but the new antagonist has to be the most idiotic over the top villian ive ever seen in fiction... talk about jumping the shark

Yeah it's too bad about the villain, guess it'll make the beat-up even more satisfying (or the lesson even harder for Hanaku). I really want Hana and Koharu relation to fully develop into a apprentice/master relationship, because at first she brought her in here like some kind of mentor but after a little sparring she let her go with the author trainers, which are certainly really good in their domain, but I don't know...

I feel like Hana is Koharu's protégée but it didn't show much. Perhaps Koharu isn't experienced enough to fully train her. Still loving the "I want to become a stronger person" motivation.

Girl power! This is one kind of a story.

Yah I'm not too much of a fan of this new villain and how over-the-top she is, but I do like that Hana has something more to motivate her than just strength... though I guess it still kinda is "I wanna be strong" since she's doing this to reverse Fu-chan's expulsion.

Though frankly, in the world of common sense, if a school just expelled my kid for absolutely no reason she wouldn't be going back there... But, neither here nor there lol.

I will say, I do hope Nina doesn't get redemption. Let her just be a complete asshole without some tragic motivation.

Side note: dammit, I'm kinda turning around on Aki ALREADY lmao. This shouldn't be happening that darn quick!

I'm thinking in Japan a expulsion from school would be devastating. It would kill her chance of ever getting into any decent collage and make it impossible for her to get a decent job let alone become a nurse. That stuff has a far bigger impact on future life paths there than other places it seems.

Ah, I could see that being the case. I was looking at that from a much more western perspective... aaaaaand probably fueled a bit by anger at that bully.

It's rare that I want the MC to whoop someone's butt with ease, but this is one of those times lol (super unlikely of course but still!).

So Hana will get stronger but all she's doing is just tackling and submissions. Considering her opponent, this is exactly what she will be doing for the foreseeable future.

For an action manga, this sure is kind of trite. I mean, Hana doesn't even have a signature move yet. And the pure BJJ specialist is such a boring fighting style. The 2000s called they want their fighting style back.

Did you miss her prediction and dodge skills?
Or do those not count?
Not entirely sure what you mean by "signature move". You want her to have a kamehameha or something? Seems silly, considering the number of opponents who've lost because of their over-specialisation and over-reliance on a particular approach.

Well. A matter of opinion, of course. But I think this is not trite. Flamboyant signature moves at this stage would be. This is more fresh approach.

Even "the combat awareness" and "the super-dodge" are a bit too much. But that's just personal preference: I like a good "bildungsroman" now and then. Still, this is great and I love it.

Wait a minute—you mean a sports manga has a protagonist with an implausible degree of natural talent, an unrealistic development arc, and the story sometimes is a bit off about the nuances of the sport?

Say it isn’t so!

Now leaning towards wanting Hana to be with Fu-chan.
