I was surprised that Mai confessed to wanting sex with Asumi and not something more emotional. I mean, the sexual things she was describe were intimate in a potentially emotional way, but she didn't make it explicit. This might really be going for a potential harem/brothel/sex worker job ending if they don't end up dating. Though Asumi considering how to set up the mood and then just being honest, her work into topping, her work into having a good date with Mai, it feels like she's put in way more effort with her than anyone else, so it'll also be a little weird if they don't end up dating.

There's so much spaghetti being spilled this chapter. We know about Asumi-chan's, but you can tell those Mai-chan's as well, right from the get-go and it only gets more and more spaghettified (unless you're nervous Asumi-chan and you won't notice even if Mai-chan hit you in the head with a brick).

I think it's largely the latter, they've had these feelings weighing on them for years. Once they finally break the seal on sex I think they'll be much more comfortable.
