bit of a shame to see the two of them drop out of the race though to be fair they were always on the sidelines and given the chapter it's clear they have a lot in common and get along well so godspeed to Luna and Carla.

It does give me some hope that Sofia and Olivia will get their one hand each as a smaller group is just more achievable relationwise lmao.

There goes my harem ending dream. First DoreKoi(?), and now this one.

Dang, I really was expecting an actual poly ending...? Machino really did genuinely seem to love all of them, but i guess we're seeing now it may be a little different for each. This is probably the first harem ive acrually properly read, though, so idk how these usually go.
If anything, seeming to pair off Luna and Carla makes me doubtful we'll get Luna×Sophia, which i find v sad; Luna being so happy about Machino & Sophia being in love made me feel there was a genuine shot that, if those 3 were a couple, all of them could be (though Aurora was always the odd one out to me if they went that route tbh)
At this point, I feel like maybe the best ending if she cant chose everyone is to choose no one, because while her love is true, and they all know it, she cant keep them all guessing for so long. Though that would be a strange ending for this kind of story, yeah?

It’s genuinely really cool to see other characters besides the MC figure it all out so quickly and know they’re not the one. Normally I hate harems because they are in the business of saying nothing for as long as possible. But this is about processing and discussing an extraordinary amount of love with a group of people. It’s not interested in playing games, and has something it clearly wants to do, and that opens the space up to plot decisions you’d never see in harems with other priorities.

It’s really lovely, and very kind. I adore this manga.

Harem tend to be like that, the game stays for the whole manga and in the end they discard the other girls. Most of the time the girls get the same treatment (or enough for you to think they have a little chance) is all about love for fanservice!

Only 2 more chapters. 21 is already out. So, Olivia is really gonna lose...

I could very well be wrong, but as cute as this was, it really didn't seem like they got particularly closer. There's an incongruity in their conversations. Machino and Sofia were discussing all the things they wanted to do, but at the same time were talking about how Sofia could implement some changes to Celestia. Both can't be true. Can any of them even stay here? Or if Machino chooses one of them does she go with them into the game?

The heroines are all aware of the time limit while Machino isn't. It means there is a certain lack of honesty here. I hope Olivia makes the difficult decision to lay it all out on the line, not just the "I love you" but the more difficult conversation of this whole situation having a time limit.
