There's nothing I could wish for more than that people started only thinking this instead of saying/writing it. I'm ten years older and getting this all the time is an absolute bane to my existence.

The actual chapter was lovely though. I accept that "rebound" she offers in her thoughts gracefully. Nonetheless, it would have been great if there had been just a little more room to dwell on it. Their dynamic was interesting.

The hood outfit is pretty cute actually. The mascot doesn't feel shoehorned in and it's still a decent lolita ensemble.
On another note, I love how you can already spot the matching set in the collab showcase page. It's a neat detail.

Aw, this chapter actually made me feel a little bad for Carla. (On the flip side, the comments openly rooting for Olivia made me snicker. Well, if hearts need to be broken, it should at least happen for the sake of my best girl.)

It was a bit sudden but I'm not upset with Niji's story not getting some neat resolution. I'd much rather have this than, say, something like the ending of Inside Mari.
I'm happy that Remu retained her focus on dolls; while I can see the inklings of a typical love triangle setup (though I won't reread it right now to confirm), I'm starting to find it a bit fatiguing in the same way het stories (and sometimes real-life situations) hardly ever seem to allow for confusing but non-romantic tension within relationships.
And sure, the rest went by fast and it could have been developed a bit better but I'm okay with the general direction. The failed high school romance working out in the end might look troubling from a certain moralistic point of view... However, I couldn't care less about that. It was cute.

Really love the transitions here and I feel like we're finally inching towards a proper setup. I mean, who knows what the next chapter will bring but I would love a more or less direct continuation for either Aya/Mitsuki or Shu/what's-her-face.

While I'm not saying that the elements don't complement each other, their outfits this chapter were kind of wacky. Well, mostly Kuran's.
Other than that, the TLN was really neat.

She's really putting in all that horniness into her work. Love that for her.

Didn't expect to see Yi Xi here but I'm glad the artist went with this design; the song was really fun.

Not sure what to personally make of the latest chapter yet so I'll focus on something else instead.
When I skimmed through my newly acquired volume, the line in chapter 9 jumped out at me: "I'm just glad that I'm with you." While it sounds more natural with the follow-up "That's my line.", I can't help but get a fundamentally different feel from it in comparison to "I did well to choose you". I'm really happy to have the opportunity to read it here as well (although I'd still love for a local publisher to pick it up).

Sometimes manga is the worst medium to convey things. I know what I'm supposed to see but I'm still squinting to actually discern it.

I wasn't sure how to feel about yet another character getting added to the mix but Mamu's mother won me over in those last pages. (While I vaguely wonder about the father now, if it wasn't actually addressed in a throwaway line, I assume that won't be any hindrance to some MILF action.)

The split-second moment of them being cute like this made it worth it to me this week. It'll sustain me for however long this arc is going to go on.

Well, it's certainly a promising first chapter. The drag and dread of these jobs was set up incredibly well; I could almost feel it through the screen.

A bit rude, English is my native tongue, but fair enough. I've not encountered it in my own experiences or at least not read it enough to register it.

Asking an experienced translator if he was retranslating from French might also seem a bit rude.

Tbf, Kirin is french. Although he only translate to English.

Good thing she came to her senses. For me, scorning a rock girl for looking like a rock girl would be a big strike against continuing this, even if it's short. But now let's see into what kind of mess this devolves.

While Junko was despicable, I have no positive sentiments for Satomi and Kayo either due to my personal experience at work. In fact, this whole part pissed me off like little else. But it's still one of Sal Jiang's best works in my opinion and I'm happy I can get my hands on the omnibus. (And I'm amused that literally searching for "office yuri" led me straight to it. Even if it does imply a woeful lack of localised office yuri.)

Now she makes me midnight snacks.
And comforts me when I pull an all-nighter to meet a deadline.

It's a good thing this is still primarily a comedy; it made some parts easier for me. Like chapter 44 when Saeko's thoughts get surprisingly dark.
And while I'm a bit indifferent on the main characters, I really liked Shiho (I'm with Miwa regarding the hair though) and Kan, even if he's an ass most of the time.

Well, while I'd wait to see how the end turns out and the chapter did give me a bit whiplash, I can't say I don't enjoy the development. It feels sufficiently drastic and sudden, just dropping everything for this one opportunity. Perhaps it would have been nice to linger on the other characters more (although thinking back to Gone Girl, I wasn't the biggest fan of the first half, which is basically what I say I wanted so...) but with how little interest I have in them, I might have been unhappy either way.

Frankly, the 4 page format doesn't work all that well for me when it's condensed into an actual book. The chapter titles are there but they're so tiny that you end up basically ignoring them anyway. Not a huge problem with the "bundles" 49 to 51 but e.g. 47 and 48 are disorienting when you have them side by side. And there are more of the latter than the former.
For some reason, I had thought there'd be some filler in the volume release to mitigate that issue (which was a very stupid thing to expect, of course).

Yes, I'm sure that's what he's really concerned about. And the more I think about it, the more I'm surprised that Matsuri didn't expect what eventually happened. I'm glad she had a realisation upon seeing the empty house at least. (Thanks a bunch for translating this.)
