Nah, the whole sequence leading to Hino just telling Koguma to rest as her reward for passing the exams had multiple chapters without a "baka".

100% it's for Koguma - the question is whether Hino knows she's being followed. Kinniku is good at twisting expectations and I think he thinks we think that Hino knows, so maybe she doesn't? Real short chapter though. The wait for the next is going to be harder.

I think I would like it if Hino-san really wore super girly and or cosplay clothes outside of school too! But I think either she spotted them tailing her and is teasing them- or she is buying it for Koguma.

Part of me is hoping that the outfit is actually for Hino, and Koguma thinks that Hino's gonna try and make her wear it.

Yeah, it was definitely obvious she knew! Not sure how I feel about the third wheel being included in the punishment, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

So as expected she's gonna stuff them into those outfits as punishment, but that's not important.

What's important is that this shows a different side of Koguma we didn't see much before. Koguma lusting after Hino is something we don't see enough of and the manga also typically doesn't give us Hino fanservice/focus. The fact that we actually get Hino-san in some cute outfits for once (even if its just imaginary) is a big step up.
