Miyako really has no leg to stand on when it comes to finding Matsumoto creepy. At least she's not bribing a child with candy so she can take photos of her. Also, this was a cute chapter.
Matsumoto practically makes a ritual every time she makes clothes for Miyako, and it's not about their creepiness anyway, the whole point of Matsumoto's character is that she is there so Miyako learns to not be creepy anymore with Hana and just romance her normally, the big difference between the 2 is that Miyako isn't anymore the woman that bribed a child with candy to take photos like she did in the first chapter while Matsumoto is exactly the same as when she was introduced and she won't change, while Miyako changed a lot in these 50 chapters.
This permanent difference between the 2 is what makes Miyako only being able to progress romantically with Hana while only stay as friends with Matsumoto.
Pedophilia is always gonna be creepier than the light brand of stalking Matsumoto does full stop. Like I can actually sympathize with Matsumoto and root for her because her feelings aren't inherently predatory.

Miyako isn't in love with Hana because she's a child, she's in love with Hana because she's Hana, it's pointless to root for someone that already lost before being introduced. Just wait until Hana grows, Miyako has said multiple times she'll always be with her, which means she'll wait to seal the deal. And I believe the manga will time skip to seal the deal when Hana is 18+.

My comment was in regard to that very chapter. I just don't find those two to go well together, no matter what.
It was a joke, but in my opinion I think that chapter was to make their ship appeal more to readers, and it worked on me. Although I did already like the ship from the beginning

Wow, I’m really happy that Miyako remembered what Kouko said in the previous chapter about the “someone like me” thing and caught herself from saying it again this chapter. That’s a big step forward for her, and I’m proud.
Matsumoto said some pretty nice things on the previous chapter, made it all the more painful when she blew it at the end.

i acutally like the koko x myako ship i don´t think the myako x hana works at all
for me there´s two type of loli manga that works, the one´s that go maximum overdrive; and don´t give a fuck about anything like some itou hachi´s work
and the ones that tackles the subject in a more realistic way like yuzumori san or maybe hoshikawa ginza district
(by the way i enjoy both please don´t judge me im a simple man)
but with wataten i can´t suspend my disbelievef like i do with master an mel because the manga itself acknowledges that hana doesn´t fell confortalble dressing like that and finds miyako ´s behaviour creepy
but i can´t take it seriously either becuase the manga never deals with the issues that the manga itself presents
in my opinion the relationship between hana and miyako is by far the weakest part of the manga

Seriously this is basically a "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things" manga with noncommittal loli yuri tacked on instead of noncommittal regular yuri because that's the new trend.
