Yaaaay, so I binged read this within an hour and a half today lol, and I think I'm enjoying it so far, I'm not really a fan of cheating but the guy is such a non character that I forgot half way.

I do enjoy the fact that she's aware that she is infact cheating somehow even if she didn't harbor feelings towards him prior to whatever's happening rn, it makes it feel more down to earth.

But I do hope she'll eventually just tell him things really can't work out, he doesn't seem like a bad person, just a bad partner because he's lacking in communication, it still amazes me that they were together for a whole year.

Lovely date, nice discussion of future plans, but also confirmation that the boyfriend problem is still in the air...

Also, I'm sure she could actually do this...

If the boyfriend doesn't have a secret girlfriend himself, he is very patient at least, especially for a teenager. It still feels weird to stick with a person that is so openly unenthusiastic. They went on some dates but there was no desire from Ritsu to be close. They feel like they are barely getting along as acquaintances.

I can imagine the boyfriends just saying "I thought we had broken up already, you haven't spoken to me in two whole months"

Just read up on all of this. Bizarre series. I don't dislike it, but it does feel like a clumsy adaptation - characters seem to talk way too much and I get the sense that the author wants their interactions to be the main source of humour, but in the meantime things are seemingly happening but it just kinda doesn't gel together? Boyfriend is a non-factor, sister and her girlfriend have some connection with Yarai but this also doesn't seem to matter so far? She just kinda told it all in one lore-dump chapter and that had almost no impact. Yarai is supposed to be eccentric and have no social awareness but it's been contradicted in the story itself multiple times.

In short, a madhouse with no rhyme or reason but it doesn't matter because bulk of this is just the two main girls romancing, the rest is just kinda there :P

I, for one, am expecting the plot twist he's also hiding a secret paramour, but not a girlfriend! :P Would mirror nicely with the MC.

I totally expected Yarai to unearth some dirt about Shouya after asking about his first name, just something along the lines of "oh that Shouya? I thought he was XY-chan's boyfriend?"
