Hesha x Jolene - M.C. meets FL's family, gets drunk with future In-Law, goes picking berries next day, living her best life

Irene x Faye - M.C. travels to foreign country to build connections, "Love Interest" leaves her alone (on purpose) knowing she'll get harassed, M.C. nearly gets SA'ed and murders a noble possibly causing diplomatic incident.

Its like reading two completely different stories in one and im here for it

The art is getting prettier

Couple A: Sweethearts being sickeningly cute together.
Couple B: Toxic manipulation, Machiavellian plots, foiled rape attempts, and attempted murder.

Well-- Let's remember that Couple A was toxic at the start too, maybe not as Machiavellian, but there was definitely some crazy moments... So maybe Couple B will get there too? lmao

Yeah couple A started with hiring someone to rape/murder the other so couple B isn't that far off

Problem is, I don't know if there's going to be another 50 chapters to fix Irene. Irene also isn't doing these things as impulsively as Hesha did, aka she's not coming from as ignorant a place that can be learned from, nor is Faye looking like she can take it or push back the way Jolene could. Then there's Diana.

Edit: Just to be clear I'm still all here for the characters and drama. But I'm not so sure about the Faye/Irene ship anymore. In fact I kinda want to see Hesha stand up for her sister and smack Irene for this.

Who would have thought I'd be cheering Hesha and Jolene this much? Also, Irene is literally now the worst character. I would have picked Lord William McHandsy, but he got his head smashed in so hopefully he has a brain injury and spends his remaining years pooping into a bag.

Irene kinda pisses me off. Why does the masc presenting character have to be a manipulative ass? Faye may be a spoiled brat, but nobody deserves what Irene is doing to her.

Also, if Kelly is switching to her original har color, perhaps she could also start wearing sleeveless outfits. No particular reason....
