Sadako clearly has no clue about romance (or relationships in general) so this arc will presumably teach her how that works.

After Hana leaves with Moon, Marina pushes one of her legs between Sadako's legs, pulls Sadako's thigh up at a like 140° angle while dipping her, and tries to kiss her on the lips. And in 7.5 she "accidentally" has her fingers on the side of Sadako's breast. So never mind romance, Marina goes way past just hitting on her and ventures into night club grinding territory. Sadako is so oblivious it's kind of giving me Born Sexy Yesterday vibes, or I guess the lesbian version of it.

Sal Jiang's stories are always a feast! It's so interesting, and the characters are so unique and the art <3333 I want to grow up to have such a distinctive and kick-ass art style!

God im obsessed with Sal Jiang. Their fears, fashion, and hair, the extreme facial expressions, and cuteness? How do they do it all! So are they at a Halloween festival or something? And when will they realize that those two are probably the witches they're looking for

I'm still waiting for the shoe to drop, because things aren't going to end nicely with this group if I had to guess. Great to see another chapter though, thanks for the translation!

Mone causing some self-reflection for Hanako's jealousy was a welcome surprise. However, considering that Mone is maybe not actually jealous of them but more scared about a certain killer witch makes Hanako's wrongly attributed empathy quite funny.

I'm getting the feeling that Sadako is much older than most witches, having seemingly lived for centuries and survived the Hunts. Almost all others are likely post-Hunt witches, which makes them mistake and underestimate Sakado as a new witch because of her general worldly ignorance.

The leader witch of Sabbath may have recognized this and decided to use Sadako's strength for Sabbath's goals, rather than get into what may be a losing fight with an ancient and powerful witch to enforce their secrecy.

It's kinda funny now that she's called a murderer because back then she seemed completely unaware of what death even is, she thought all the bodies were sleeping.

I hope this series lasts a long time! The setup is so good it would really suck if it was the usual length publishers give her series.

I'm pretty sure she just writes to her desired length. None of her series feels like they needed or wanted more chapters. I do wonder what she has cooking for this one, though.

It was discussed here earlier. The story never really said Prince was a woman and there was information to suggest the opposite. Last time this was my take:

If Moon weren't intended as a boy what would be the point of Sadako's final comment of the chapter? And earlier in the chapter when the friend responds to the idea that woman can't be together, she says "I'm a woman too!" If Moon were a woman, who is clearly courting our MC, wouldn't the friend instead reply "you were already flirting with a woman (Moon)"? The dialogue seems to suggest one direction to me, although there's maybe some wiggle room. I guess we'll see though.

Sal wasn't direct about it at that point but I'm assuming this chapter used language that made things clearer?

While they use male language (boku) it doesn't mean much if they want to take on the role of the "prince". When Marina refers to Moon, she doesn't say "that guy", she uses a gender neutral word, "yatsu".

In my opinion, Sal Jiang is playing on the ambiguity on purpose. And for some reason, it makes the yuri purists foam at the mouth and say that this manga isn't yuri.

Forgetting that Sal Jiang only ever writes yuri.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking, there's various nuances of language and culture being shown here. Plus the possible obscuring of identity of purpose.

I'm also reminded of the probably rare cases where even with English there's some butch lesbians that go by he/him. There's so many varying and even complex elements to usage of language and identity.

Specifically talking about the likes of Twitter here, it's something also where more people need to let the author do their thing and see how it unfolds. Unfortunately a lot of people on social media feel entitled, combined with social media having such a nasty culture of bullying. If I ever wrote something I'd avoid social media like the plague for that reason (and other reasons).
