it was surprising to read that, at the time, nozoeli was the rarepair rather than nozonico! the anime really was such a big influence in their characterizations! maybe I should read all of the encore doujins, for old time's sake (｡･ω･｡)

I can't help but feel like this one will end very bittersweetly... I'm having a bit of trouble sympathizing with hana's character; I'm sure she has her reasons for it but her actions come across as very mean-spirited. :( I can't believe I'm saying this, but I feel really bad for the husband. he genuinely seems like a nice person who doesn't deserve to get betrayed. at this point, I'm hoping hikaru will either get over her past love, or she and the husband will divorce on good terms... I've been reading VE for 3 years now, so knowing I'm not going to open dynasty and get excited cause a new chapter was uploaded makes me a bit sad ( •︠ˍ•︡ ) and I'm really happy my favorite couple got a nice conclusion, but I wish some of the other girlies did too... not sure how I feel about the sudden ending, but I'm just glad this manga exists and that I was able to read it ^^ ♡ thx for all the hard work, Chads!

keito and niki had a pretty interesting relationship, but I found angie such a mesmerizing character. I think the story does a great job of portraying her as an ideal, the person keito strives to be. she's strong and mysterious, but she's not perfect either. I would have loved to see more of her and her world.
