Hi everyone! I'd like to apologize once again for the long delay between translation releases. I don't want to make any promises I can't keep, but I can at least say that Chapter 8 is already translated and is currently being typeset, so it should follow shortly after this release. My plan after that is to try and finish the rest of Volume 2 by around the end of the year, but that all depends on how busy things get for me. I still want to see this project through to the end, with the goal of making this the definitive, most high-quality translation there is for this series. Thanks for sticking around for so long!

Also, I have to say, I absolutely love this Ch. 7 moment from Kurokawa. Such a powerful line.

Nah, she’s been at her birthday every year and she misses one to be with her girlfriend is completely reasonable. Eri isn’t allowed to throw a fit about it when she just had an assumed fight with the “girlfriend.” She also pulled the whole “who’s more important. Me or your girlfriend.” She’s being completely unreasonable considering she got in a relationship with a guy and is being half-assed about because she values “friendship” more so than romance which is obviously not the case because she values fuyuki waaaay more than what a friend should do. Whether it’s romantic or not it’s being heavily hinted that it is. She’s just mad that the attention is no longer solely on her lol

if the guy asked her to let them alone that day, I can understand all the issues and shit fuyuki's going through but still, she's not only your gf she's a human with friends and family, you can't expect to monopolize all of her time just because you're a couple, so I would've still told him to go fuck himself lol

It shouldn't be a given that friends will celebrate birthdays with friends. You should ask first if they can come and celebrate. That's just taking advantage of fuyuki's friendship. And it's just a birthday goodness lol, not like a once in a lifetime event. not something that can't be celebrated later/early. The boyfriend definitely asked fuyuki to dip though, otherwise fuyuki would not have missed it for a date, so give her a break. He should have asked eri if she would celebrate with just him, not put it on fuyuki. That was being a coward.

Is Eri don't have the right to being hurt? Obviously she won't gonna make their friendship over over this but her being hurt is totally reasonable.

Also the fact that Kyou didn't ask to Eri if she would be okay to celebrate her birthday just the two of them is really cowardice on his part cus he knew she wouldn't want to spend her birthday without Fuyuki. Especially, when you know how they ended up dating. It's always amaze me the entitlement he has to even try to ask Fuyuki to leave them alone on Eri's special day and want Eri to think that she want to spend time alone just with him on her birthday, when he knew that at that time she doesn't even has the same feelings as him yet (never) and also knew that Fuyuki is Eri's first priority

Okay the way I see it is Fuyuki had a right to skip out on Eri's birthday, and Eri had a right to be upset about it. Things like that happen in friendships. I don't think this little tiff is that big of a deal. The real friendship dynamic game changer came when Eri took the next step in the relationship with her boyfriend and Fuyuki accidentally saw it.
To me it was appearant that Eri's boyfriend asked Fuyuki to skip Eri's birthday, so he could get some quality alone time with his girlfriend. So the question become why did Fuyuki lie about why she was missing Eri's birthday?
