Almost certainly a joke preview that doesn't actually reflect the contents of the manga. A lot of manga recently have done these, they're fun little what-ifs that make for good gags.

No, that's a real preview/advertisement for the next volume. It's just out of context but that's what previews do anyway.

Other people have commented but just to firm it up, that is what those pages are saying, and probably more or less a gist of what the next arc is apparently about (probably snippets of panels from ch18 sent to the publisher for specifically this preview section).

The fact the author is talking about the two main love interests in their future is obviously a reliable sign this is gonna be a poly route surely theres definitely no other reasonable explanation for it :copium:
