Maybe I'm stupid, but even in context of the story, I have no idea what they mean by RomeoJulietting. All I can think of is suicide which it definitely isn't.

I found this:

In the show:
Romeo and Julliet reference compares the star-crossed nature that a romance between Suletta and Elan would be. Elan being from a different 'house' and Suletta being from Mercury. The idea here is that Miorine believes that Suletta is romantically pursuing Elan in episode 5. By going 'all romeo and juilet' on her she would be ditching her responsibilities (as Miorine's groom) to pursue her Romeo (Elan) in an act of love.

In this doujin:
In the doujin's case Suletta is referring to the whole tragic ending aspect of it. The fact that fate tears the star-crossed lovers apart - sort of deal. The 'RomeoJuliet' she's referring to is a turbulent end of their relationship through bitter means.
When she uses it after the kiss she's referring to how much closer they've gotten and how it wasn't supposed to be that they actually developed feelings for one another.

It's a flexible analogy using Romeo and Juliet. Same material referenced, but different meanings.

Isn't it a bit early to assume she's in love with either her own sister or a girl she never met?
The way she reacted makes me think she's mad at all of them for something else, maybe for their breach of her privacy.

She was crying at the last page when she remembered Aki saying she's dating Shiho and wanted to support the girl who confessed to Miki. What do you think this scene is trying to imply?

Uh why would anyone think that Miki has a crush on Shiho?

Mostly copium tbh, since it really seems like it'd have to be her or Aki and that second option seems unpopular.

The second option is the only option that makes sense though since Miki was shown to obsess over Aki since chapter 1. I don't think she ever cared about Shiho before.

So I’ve been reading the comments that I missed from the time I put this manga on hold (only started to catch up when I heard AkiShiho finally reconciled). And I’ve been so proud of you for standing up for Shiho everytime there’s a new chapter when Shiho haters were domination the discussions. I actually like Shiho too, but I cannot deny that she was a bitch, that’s actually why I like her, she is a very transparent character and she made this manga so interesting. However this comment of yours this time made no fucking sense, and I’m thinking you like Shiho to the point that you ignore and even blamed Shiho’s “victims” for whatever is happening to Shiho right now (which are not even bad because Shiho is happy right now). I can’t believe you’re blaming Aki, of all people, when she is on top of the list of the people that did nothing wrong here. Aki is actually making an effort to love Shiho because Shiho only gave her two choices (love me or let me go), what is wrong with that? It’s obviously what Shiho wants too.

Well, I may have gone a little too far with my words back then, but I still think Aki could have made better decisions after the festival. No matter how I look at it, asking Shiho out immediately after without having romantic feelings for her seems like a mistake to me.

I understand that the author wanted to give closure to that plot, but Aki should have tried to search for answers little by little and without giving Shiho hope from the beginning like she did. As I wrote, they even go to the same school. She would have had plenty of opportunities to spend time with her anyway. Not to mention that Shiho made it clear that she still liked her and that she had no intention of them being just friends, so Aki didn't even need to take an active stance, since there was no risk of losing her in the short term at all.

I really like Aki too and I'm aware that she has the best intentions, but I believe her decision was hasty, unnecessary and selfish (she prioritized her desire to not lose Shiho as a friend over her mental well-being).

Aki was just being proactive. Shiho is a very high maintenance and impatient girl, she doesn’t like staying friends, so the only option is to be lovers. Shiho didn’t clearly say this but it’s obvious to the readers and to Aki. And I think it would be worst for Shiho’s mental health to be around Aki without any assurance that the latter will not fall in love with someone else. Being in a relationship will require Aki to only focus on Shiho and making Aki fall for her, which is the goal of both girls anyway.

Shiho doesn't deserve to be in this uncomfortable and uncertain situation. It's entirely Aki's fault, and this time she has no excuse.

I don’t usually post a comment here but damn, I can’t tolerate people badmouthing Aki because of Shiho.

Is Aki taller than Shiho? The panels are inconsistent sometimes

chapter 47.5

So, Shiho is the bottom? Lmao. She comes off as an almighty bitch but is pretty submissive when it comes to Aki. Pretty nice.

I’ve read most of Kodama’s work and this one seems to be quite mature so far. It seems the MCs, even the designated bitch, are not shitty people just for fun, they actually have real problems at hand that may cause them to do bad things (cheating ofc) in the next chapters.

Let just say, Shiho is the most interesting character for me. Yori and Hima has nothing interesting plot for me at their stage. What a romance story without some drama in it. Full Fluff story is the most boring thing to read for me.

Yeah, Shiho is carrying this manga so hard.

Why? If Aki can get over her feelings and go back to being friends, telling Yori does absolutely nothing positive for either of them, and could legitimately eff up their friendship and their relationships with others.

I just think a person's feelings should always be acknowledged.... and I was a huge AkiYori shipper at the start of the manga despite knowing they have zero chance. Since I liked the ship, I have always wanted to see Yori's reaction after finding out Aki's feelings for her.

Yeah, I disagree with a lot of the negative sentiments about Shiho in this thread. I've enjoyed this arc and I think Shiho is interesting. But I'm often kind of a sucker for "bitchy girl that turns out to be nice but traumatized."

Shiho has been the focus of the story for 3/4 of the manga. I always find it funny that some people still hates her but continue to read this manga anyway. If you hate the character that drives the story, why not just drop it? Lol

Tbh, I hated Shiho at the beginning too like everyone else here, but the author succeeded in gaslighting me into liking her so I continued to read the manga lol. Plus, Aki was the reason I liked this manga to begin with and I want her to be happy.

I hope Yori will find out someday that Aki loved her. This is just unfair.

Also, Shiho really is the main character now huh. Not that I'm complaining, she made this manga interesting.

I’m feeling sad for the MC already. She’s gonna get used so hard. She’s aware of it at least.

Kodama Naoko is finally back.

I cannot believe Evie does not have the strength to suplex Yvonne

It's not really about strength, it's just very difficult to suplex yourself. ;)

Hahahaha we all love Yvonne here that sometimes we forget Elsa exists.
