"Daddy issues" is a totally separate issue and a form of maladjustment.
The "first childish crush on father" is seen as normal childhood innocence along the lines of believing in Santa Claus.

That’s not the main issue. The main reason was because the script kept changing/didn’t have definitive structure.

What a crazy chapter this was...and Komichi's reaction is just...wow. This must now be her first time experiencing disappointment and being upset...

Either way, nice of you to try to ease the stress on Komichi, Erika, but...maybe that's the last thing she needs right now.
