Well, damn...

The warning at the start made me expect much worse, though. Not only has she not gone through with it yet by the end of the chapter, she's not even in any real danger of dying yet, depending on how fast anyone else gets to her, of course.

Story literally tagged tragedy: "That won't stop me (from crying or wishing for it to stop), i can't read.

But seriously, the journey was well worth it no matter how this ends. Even if I'm still wishing for the best.

I mean, we know her sister hates her, but considering she said "make it quick, you can't get back on your own", wouldn't she realise pretty fast what's happening?
Surely Hana is going to be the one doing the saving but still... It's a weird set-up.

She wouldn’t, she hates her, and cuz Lily doesn’t really combat it, the sis prolly never even thought suicide was an option, ESPECIALLY when in her eyes, her sister is super happy

True, and I've heard that right before they do it is when they seem the most happiest, it can throw the people around them off completely.

An understandable decision. And far better than getting sold to some unknown who doesn´t give a fuck about her. This trash only wants money and what her sister said might be a very clear indication that he is living trash.
I like happy endings as much as anyone but I actually hope they don´t make it in time.

I felt like the sister actually read her mood correctly and was giving her a way out nobody else would. She walked a blind girl into a dangerous area and gave her private time to do what she might decide to do. For the sister who seemed to understand the dangers of her blindness and environment because she often exploited it to bully her she wouldn't lack the imagination of what could happen there.

While they don't put to words what they are going through in that family because they don't have that kind of relationship... they both can understand their counterpart in ways nobody else can.

I expected the OTHER party to be the one to do the attempt here, actually, what with her reason for existing being done and all that.

Let's hope it works out for the best. After all, this manga has been so bright and optimistic so far.

I got the impression that Suzu hadn't realised what was going on, considering how surprised she was to see Hana and how cluelessly she acted about the situation. I also don't think she believed that Lily would kill herself, since, in her mind, Lily she was the more fortunate one of the two. She thought that she just wanted to say goodbye to a place she wouldn't be able to visit again and she obviously expected her to be back soon. From her point of view there was no reason to be doing anything other than wait. So, while she might not a very good person, this situation is mostly a testament to how little the two understand each other, rather than Suzu's malicious character.

This, and I think people often don't realize someone is going to commit suicide, not until it's too late at least. There can be gaps in understanding each other, perspectives not aligning, and really not understanding what someone else is going through, which is one of the big tragedies of suicide. Communication between people is usually complicated and difficult, and many different situations in life will leave us wondering "what could I have done or said for things to turn out differently?".
