what nostalgia, i can see CLAMP doing this type well but they wouldn't have the directness of all this domestic romance. In CLAMP fashion i think they would also employ lots of imagery and philosophy. Not a bad thing but i don't think they'd give us as much romance as this story has now

I was thinking more of their art style, the way the wind is drawn really reminds me of them, I would never want a clamp approach for this story (especially their endings)

So the author posted on their fanbox a few days ago. From what I can tell via machine translation, the commercial series will be cancelled due to poor sales. Last chapter will be ch. 17.

However, it seems like they are planning to continue working on the series. Their editorial department has given them permission to publish new chapters on their fanbox instead. They also mention that they've been considering creating an official english translation of the series, though who knows if that'd get approval after already seeing poor sales with the JP version.

Just read the update. Terrible news but at least she plans to continue the work independently. They even plan to release future volumes, just digitally instead. I'll follow it on her fanbox for sure. The worst thing is the loss of income when these things fall through.

I'm not super surprised (the combo of a soft fantasy style and then a princess eating cookies covered with ants off the ground probably served as a wall for a lot of casuals) but it's still sad news. Hope the author's self publishing goes well for her.
