Itsn't going to work for you and only the hater of kaoru, but its so beautiful and grateful to me to Say to you : the couple Mask and kaoru is the story's choice of the mangaka ^^ accept it or pass.

Yeah. That line caught my attention too.

Mask x Kaoru is absolutely my favorite part of this manga. I really wasn't expecting that revelation from Mask, wow. And going back to chapter 113 we see Kaoru getting interested from the smile behind the mask, turns out the feeling was kind of mutual.

Mask and Kaoru's progression as a pairing has been so satisfying to see, I will never get tired of her turning the tables on Kaoru. Easily one of my favorite pairings now.

I just wanna give props to the translators because (as I understand things) Mask is using kind of an archaic and overly formal style of Japanese, like the kind you'd use in the presence of royalty or something, and they're managing to translate it into an equally stuffy and archaic style of English.

Your bar for being irredeemable is comically low. I don't see her as particularly likable, but the story is more interesting for it.

Kaoru fainted from Mask grabbing her booty, maybe jokingly. Then later on after their exchange, in the evening when Karou was home she was taking a bath, she looked at where Mask grabbed her booty, and from thinking about the exchange + the heat of the bath she passed out.

So that's it then.. the ship has sailed?

How I love this slow burn reversal, Mask used to be so insecure about herself and now she's the one doing the seducing.
