Tracy Hu even delivers heartwarming dad speeches?!? Ugh!! So sweet. Damn. The other characters get lots of detail without feeling like it detracts or deviates from the main lovers plot. This is one of my favorite stories still.

Could Yundou be smiling any harder at the end of chapter 42, hahahahaha!

What a nice little chapter with Yunduo and her Dad, that conversation felt so heartfelt and real. Sometimes parents don’t understand the lessons they teach us and then forget to correct them when they realise or change.

Is her ex girlfriene, or nope?

I like that Xiaoxen just does not have any particular desire to save their love interest from their precarious situation like a lot of Yuri heroines she just kinda accepts it is what it is and enjoy it while it lasts

Since the issue with the dad (the other one :P) is more or less still not addressed, I'm going to assume Wen is somehow connected to it, but we'll see :P So far I have faith in the author.

Also, the moral of the story so far - if you think there is something missing in your life, check your phone case. (But seriously, that puzzle piece analogy felt just a bit too on the nose :P I'll let it slide though, the story so far is pretty good).

Ah icydgi "Zorra-chan" is the generic name Spanish-speaking fans of yuri use for the character of the "ex who returns" in yuri manga. It's such a common trope, there's even a meme where you just have to paste the face of the ex-gf character on a template with a dialogue bubble that reads: 'Hello bitches! Here I am to sink the lead ship and bring conflict and drama to the story! You know you want it!'

Guess that ending connects well to the comment above about how Mu Xiaoen is waiting and taking her chance, not solving problems for others. Since this story doesn't really do pulled-out-of-a-hat resolutions handed on a silver platter, Shi Xingyuan will have to solve her past issues by herself.
