I don't get it... so ryouko is one of those lesbians who got married with a dude due to family pressure? You know for example "you're getting old, better to get married and have kids"
Never really understood the Japanese mindset of getting married and having children, even if that isn't what you truly want. Traditionalism is lame, and so is the chick who got married in this one-shot.
It's a mental illness girls' anthology.. what do you expect from this series, a happy ending? Na---nope╮(╯_╰)╭
In before, I would have totally skipped this, but now I sit here and start reading them..
Not because I'm ill, but simply because I think they are stories, stories that don't exist in my world, but hey! maybe it exists in the world of others.
So yes, it is very sick to have an adultery with a married woman, but sometimes we don't know, love is crazy and sick, that if someone happened to fall in love with someone who just happened to be married, but without the burden of morality , and still would likely to be with each other..
What can we do about it? ╮(╯_╰)╭
It's family pressure, Asians family and the communities itself are pretty tight, there are the good and the bad that comes with it. Most of them who are married don't look for love, they just look start a stable family, they might love their significant other, but not "in love" and that's enough for them. Being Asian and traditionalist myself, I would most likely get married to a guy and settle down; despite being bi.
I really do wish you have other options than just being tie down to the only option given. I really wish you do.
I really hope you are able to be with someone you love...
Sorry to hear about this, so sorry about this (╥_╥)
But uh .. this is a mental illness yuri anthology, so I expect no happy ending at all.
Maybe we should be chill about this, and for those who wanted happy fluffy yuri, maybe we should advise people to just skip this anthology and find others?
Maybe try Alcohol Yuri anthology?
This series has many fluffy happy ending though.
I will take a different route. The ending you know?... bubble gives off a lot of possibilities.
- the husband may not be clueless. He knows what is Seri-chan to Ryouko. Thus, he was intrigued and very curious. His business trips may also entail that he is meeting a same-sex lover as well.
- Ryouko plan to move back and bought a house hoping to be with Seri-chan. So, the park meeting was intentional not coincidental. Confirming that Seri-chan felt the same, she resolved to transfer.
- It could be that Ryouko entered to an agreement with her husband(already in a same-sex relationship) to lift the stress and interrogation of parents(esp. mother) about settling down and having children with this kind of arrangement and told about Seri-chan.
- Part of the agreement is to live away from parents to avoid interrogation from both families. Remember Ryouko's family moved out also because of the father's job. It could be that Ryouko live in the same neighborhood as husband's.
These are all possibilities inspired by real life journey of a Chinese woman who is in a same-sex relationship. She helped young Chinese generations because of non-acceptance of same-sex relationships. The article was part of a documentation on LGBTQ.
Oh, I definitely would take these as part of the excuses.
That sounds more likely and probable than the bisexual route.

Maybe?
We don't exactly know the context so we can only assume, since this is one-shot and doesn't provide details for readers.
Readers could only make up stories that are missing to complete the pieces of this story.

"Me a freaking lesbian?!" https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/pink_strawberry#14
Somebody needs to explain to that poor girl what a lesbian is and that there's nothing wrong with being one.
