Read that wonderful NSFW one shot about Shamiko and Momo so I decided to read the official manga too. It was awesome.

The ability for the author to plant little seeds that won't come back until late in the future consistenly amazed me (really hope that Momo or Shamiko getting their memories of the other erased and then brought back through the power of love ends up happening).

Momo is definitely my favorite character (not only of this story, but she's now one of my favorite characters in general), which ties to my one problem with the story: Why can't Momo find out she has sealed memories? I wish Mekato had given some sort of explanation for that. Still, I'm confident it's going to be dealt with, hopefully through kisses.

I also like how, despite growing stronger and more skillful, Shamiko is not becoming a complete expert in her powers.

We're up to ch 84 on mangadex, but I haven't read any of /a/'s translations. I got a page into ch 82 and decided to wait for something a bit higher quality. I just checked the first page ch 84 and they straight up left someone's name in Japanese and added an apostrophe s. I'm sure they are putting a lot of effort into their work, but it's still pretty dire.

Just caught up on all the post-anime chapters after binging Season 2, and holy shit this manga is insane. I have to say, I was not expecting Watermelon Hitler. The way this series manages to have an incredibly well thought-out, engaging plot while also being hilarious and endearing makes it a true masterpiece in my mind. All it needs is a ShamiMomo kiss to cement it as a legendary work of art!

I got reminded of this series, it seems it'll be coming back in 2023, might reread it before that to get a refresher
