i can't decide if my favorite part of the oneshot is the MC's exposition at the beginning implying that the villainess is another typical "actually she was just a poor misunderstood bean" villainess only for it to turn out that she's legitimately a nutjob and the MC was just mindlessly stanning her, or if my favorite part is the shoujo flower creation magic. loved it

I've read multiple works of this author and I say without a hint of irony... this might've been her best in a while.

Damn. When I saw the mangaka's name, I immediately recognized them as the mangaka of "Watashi ni xx Shinasai", a shoujo manga I read probably over a decade ago. I was pleasantly surprised that they also drew yuri and such a cute one-shot at that!

I can agree that this would be improved by spreading it across a few chapters, but not TOO many. This feels like... eight chapters max, and at least two of those should be after they figure out they're down bad for each other.

Honestly I would love for it to turn into a full series. The art style is sick and while the villainess mangas have been done to death I also am a huge fan of stereotypical-esque manga. I hope it wins the yuri hime survey!
