Thought I was having a Déjà vu moment, then I noticed this is one of the few chapters that made it into the anime mostly intact.

gonna have to agree with a few others, i normally like the kuudere but aki is just holding back the yuri here.

The author may want to tone down Aki's acumen a little, if she wants this to get anywhere, really: it's like a never-ending battle between Inugami's bold schemes and Aki's ability to prevent those from happening, where the latter always manages to outsmart the former

Aki's not a kuudere, she's just the designated tsukkomi to Inugami's boke. Technically speaking, the one who comes closest to the kuudere trope here would be Nezu, although only visually.

^ basically this. I dunno about you all but there's plenty of yuri going on, and Aki just makes things hilarious. Like actually hilarious. I laugh a lot because of her and her tsukkomi style.

Yeah but I think she does it out of habit, cos the really touching moments, she has had it's with Nekoyama, well that's what I think is going on. I loved the end of this chapter with the cuddling and darling hahaha <3 awww..I wish they kissed and became a good official couple

i always attributed that to her being like a dog. dogs like being affectionate with people (at least in my experience), but they will always go back to that one person.

I know this is going down the Dog x Cat route, especially since the title already clearly states that -- but am I the only one that secretly roots for Aki? My apologies if it's an unpopular opinion, but I'm here for the underdog.
