I hate to say this... But Chapter 11 worked better in the anime, sense the whole catnip tea storyline is very visual.

That said, it fits in better in the manga, where Nekomata had realized she has romantic feelings for Inugami, but is just to tsun-tsun to admit it yet.

I found it a lot funnier in the anime. Because Inugami makes this epic rape face when Aki gets distracted XD I was crying laughing.

Nekoyama is only interested in Inugami, but she's so awkward with the whole thing that Nezumi can't help but tease her.

They are using ambiguous wordings in ambiguous situations all the time, with a strong sexual subtext.

The whole thing is made of sex jokes.

It does not stand out as much in english but in japanese, they are really lewd.

NekoNezu is probably my favourite of the non-default ships
but yeah what I love about the series is that you get chapters like these, which are like headcanons for 'what if characters a and b hung out' but they're in the actual series??

In Japan, while it's probably more common for friends to call each other by their given (first) names, it's still pretty common for school friends to call each other by their family (last) names. Also, though I don't know how common it is outside of fiction, there are definitely cases where lovers (one or even both) will continue to call each other by family names for some time.

But talking about this series, the family names kind of define them, so don't they have to use family names or lose that element?
