From the first two pages, this manga messed with the comventions and I am here for it. And they are 17. By manga standarts they might as well be retired

This also feels like a one shot where story is neatly wrapped up. There is no hook or anything. Kinda weird.

I think the idea is that she looks up to her as a goddess, and said goddess actively encourages her to confess to her and pursue her romantically, hence the name.

this redirected my expectations towards the end in a (kinda) twist, I like it.

It did kinda remind me of my high school time in the 2000s, romantic affections (naively) shared in good faith being spread by others and used to tease people. Really unpleasant, but at least it took a nice and fluffy turn here.
