Agree for the rape tag, absolutly hated this chapter. No need to have the NTR tag in my opinion.
For some extra context on my thoughts, I was thinking NTR because after she's raped it's heavily implied that her crush is raped in front of her as well. Which feels very NTR to me at least.
I mean, I can see where you come from, but considering that her goal here is not to force them apart, but to force them together, I'm not sure it technically counts as NTR.
That's honestly part of this that I don't get...she said she wanted them to get together...then her actions were to rape one of them, and then invite the other one over and rape her in front of the first girl. So her actions are still very NTR regardless of what she said, plus as others have said it's very much written like an NTR rape story.
Oh, but it does end with her calling the mindbroken Rui to join/replace her in having sex with Kotone. "Granting Rui's wish", as she put it. Not that I'd call it a sane plan, of course.
It's running on really bad Hentai-Logic, where her plan of "getting them together" seems to be that she's going to rape the both of them until they're mentally broken and can only think about sex, while never functioning as proper human beings again. All so the 3 of them can live out their days having sex together. It's why I said earlier we need a "mind break" tag, especially with how she rapes one girl in front of the other. I still think the whole story reads like really bad NTR rape hentai, it doesn't have to be about driving two people apart because I think NTR can also be about a single person dominating and raping a couple/potential couple/crushes, even if they do have a threesome or whatever afterwards. The content is still both parties being raped, and in front of the other party. We might have different definitions of NTR and that's fine, but I still think the tag is appropriate and is a good warning for the type of content in this work.
Especially with the 3rd page (099 I guess), where Rui's crush on Kotone is presented as this cute innocent love. Something that Maria destroys by raping them. That's a big factor for that NTR feeling, and depressing as fuck.
Faces are hot. Plot is ehhh.. more confusing and full of holes than the average ntr doujin. I'd probably understand it better if I read the thread and analyzed the chapter more carefully. But I'd rather use my brain thinking about other stuff than trying to understand this chapter.
I don't think you're missing anything, or need to think about it more. The work is a messy contrived pile of fetishized rape.
I think my GF standards lowered since I read Rapunzel. At Ieast, Rui can see what she's doing. Maria just wants to help.
"Just wants to help", she rapes + mentally breaks both of them. Maria mentally breaks Rui by repeatedly raping her, there's no "sees what Maria is doing". Maria specifically works like a predator by finding out that Rui lives alone and taking advantage of it. So I personally find the logic/justification of "just wants to help" to be extremely gross, as this work is so horrific. A big part of the narrative is that Rui doesn't want to say Kotone's name because she knows if she does Maria will likely rape her as well, and Maria's goal is to force the name out of Rui. This leads deeper into the horror of this story where Rui in a dazed state after being raped numerous times lets Kotone's name slip on accident, which is followed by a feeling of dread and panic from Rui as Maria goes through Rui's phone and invites Kotone over, followed by Maria dragging Kotone inside and raping her just as Rui feared. The narrative is horror and the sex scenes read like fetishized rape.
This is why I personally feel so strongly grossed out by the story. I'm not saying others can't enjoy it, I simply don't like the idea that Maria is "just trying to help", her motivations are nothing good or pure in the slightest. Maria is a psychotic rapist and for me at least there's nothing in the world that can justify her character and actions.
