Exactly, nothing more irritating than to read something that obviously want to be "unconventional" while doing it in the most conventional way. Seriously, there was a good base concept with the delinquent student and "alternative" teacher (sadly, she really isn't) but the execution is just not there.

Maybe I'm wrong and the teacher will learn along the student among other thing and overall get better, but considering the start and the track record with these, I'm not holding my breath.

Seriously, the whole "do your graffiti on a canvas" is already missing a massive point of what street art is about and the way the teacher is presented, I really doubt she's meant to be in the wrong. Which doesn't bode well for the other aspect of the story, especially if it meant to be a student-teacher thing.

Like, not only it's barely "ntr" since the two girl weren't even together to begin with and the MC just wanted a "way out" because she thought the other was straight or something but even the "depressing as fuck" part feel forced since the "madona" objective just feel idiotic and forced.

As others said, the whole pseudo-incest bit, and the fact the guy is underage, leave a bad taste and is frankly frustrating (if it goes into romance that is). Seriously, considering the BS excuse made to have him live with her, having the guy be a student/worker in his late teen/early twenties be her roommate/something similar would have worked just as well, keeping more than enough room for the same type of drama, especially seeing how much it goes into the sexism of the MC workplace.

Really feel like quite a few elements could have been reworked and would have resulted in a better, more interesting setup (be it romantic or no).

@FluffyCow @kormi Yeah, saying it's about "a lover being stolen away" doesn't quite cover the utter idiocy and tastelessness of that genre considering the ""stealing"" happen because the lover get raped in some form and end up "liking it" and/or some massive incel-like BS. Really hard to describe how much that genre reek of the most desperate edgy try-hard shit possible.

It's kinda funny (and somewhat irritating) to see people whining about this being "nonsense" or "written like a caricature of a negative stereotype of a feminist tract" when frankly, like it's already been mentioned and explained, it's still miles and miles better than shit like Rising of the Shield Hero with it's false rape accusation BS, "slave child turned slave bride" with the author bending themselves over to keep justify keeping the character a slave and whatnot. Or Goblin Slayer with it's "evil race of rapist" (that like Terraformars, may cause some iffy real life parallels).

And let's not mention Redo of Healer or similar shit like ntr (since I saw someone mention it), because oh boy that's a whole mall sized can of worms.

Again, like it's been pointed out, the "caricature" of the sexist man isn't even that unrealistic like the "but women wouldn't wear bikini armour even in that situation" complain, when again, it's been pointed out that women can be forced to wear high heels even when it's dangerous. There nothing quite as hilarious and infuriating (not to mention speak volumes about how that shit is deeply normalised) than seeing a barely exaggerated depiction of sexism decried by people as "unrealistic", even more when the most "absurd" elements, like the bikini armour, still has real life parallel.

This kind of story really just highlight how works like RotSH and co are insanely bad, immature and childish and most importantly: conventional and dull as fuck (while thinking they're the opposite) in the worst way possible ultimately.

And show how much more interesting they could be if they had any understanding of actual injustice/systemic discrimination.

^I've only seen a very small number (only one I can really recall) of "type 1" where there was no coercion whatsoever and it was as stupid and bad. "Type 3" seem to make up 99.999% of the genre (and if "type 2" is "start with rape and become """"consentual""", I'm just going to say no)
Never read a single one that actually had any kind of effect other than deep irritation that whatever I was reading would have been better if it wasn't NTR.
Worse, feel like it fucked how both cuckolding (as in the actual kink) and swinging are seen in the NSFW world. I have seen all in all 1 that was actual swinging and none of the former (seen two something somewhat approaching it, ended with the couple going "never again" and I really can't help but think "what is this weak shit?").
