I laughed out loud when Reiko flapped Hikari's hair.

Reiko-ian physics are at best ambiguous, since Hikari can’t touch her, but she can touch Hikari.

And yes, the OP is correct—given that the entire premise of the series, and one that I personally endorse wholeheartedly, is that “Reiko must never be made to be sad,” the current state of affairs must be rectified immediately.
